30. [Rolf Krake's Death]
Eysteiɴ hét ſonr Aþils er þar (9) næſt reð Suia veldi,  a hans dǫgom (10) fell Rolfr Kraci at Hleiþro. I (11) þaɴ tima herioþo konongar míoc i (12) Suiavelde bæði Danir oc norðmenn (13)  váro margir ſækonongar þeir er reðo liði (14) miclo oc átto engi lꜹnd,  þótti ſa (15) eiɴ með fủllo mega heita Sækonongr (16) er hann ſvaf aldregi undir ſótkom áſe (17) oc dracc aldregi at arins horni. (18)
Eysteinn hét sonr Aðils, er þar næst réð Svíaveldi.  Á hans dǫgum fell Hrólfr kraki at Hleiðru.

Adils's son was called Eystein, who next ruled over Sweden.  In his days, Rolf Krake died in Leidra. At that time kings, both Danes and Norsemen, were harrying in Sweden.  There were many sea kings, who had great armies but had no land.  They alone seemed to have the right to be called sea kings who never slept under the sooty beams nor drunk in the ingle nook.
