Sūrat aṣ-Ṣāffāt (37)
bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīmi

AS-SAAFFAT (THOSE WHO SET THE RANKS, DRAWN UP IN RANKS) Total Verses: 182 Revealed At: MAKKA. In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 0

37 列班者古蘭經第三七章這章是麥加的，全章共計一八二節。

وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا

1 wa-ṣ-ṣāffāti ṣaffan

By those who set the ranks in battle order 1

以列班者發誓，

فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا

2 fa-z-zāǧirāti zaǧran

And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2

以驅策者發誓，

فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا

3 fa-t-tāliyāti ḏikran

And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3

以誦讀教誨者發誓，

إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ

4 ʾinna ʾilāha-kum la-wāḥidun

Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4

你們所當崇拜者，確是獨一的，

رَّبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِ

5 rabbu s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi wa-mā bayna-huma wa-rabbu l-mašāriqi

Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun’s risings. 5

他是天地萬物之主，是一切東方的主。

إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ

6 ʾin-nā zayyannā s-samāʾa d-dunyā bi-zīnati(ni) l-kawākibi

Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6

我確已用文采即繁星點綴最近的天，

وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّارِدٍ

7 wa-ḥifẓan min kulli šayṭānin māridin

With security from every froward devil. 7

我對一切叛逆的惡魔保護它，

لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ

8a lā yassammaʿūna ʾilā l-malaʾi l-ʾaʿlā
8b wa-yuqḏafūna min kulli ǧānibin

They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8

他們不得竊聽上界的眾天神，他們自各方被射擊，

دُحُورًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ

9a duḥūran
9b wa-la-hum ʿaḏābun wāṣibun

Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9

被驅逐，他們將受永久的刑罰。

إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ

10a ʾil-lā man ḫaṭifa l-ḫaṭfata
10b fa-ʾatbaʿa-hū šihābun ṯāqibun

Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10

但竊聽一次的，燦爛的流星就追趕上他。

فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍ

11a fa-stafti-him
11b ʾa-hum ʾašaddu ḫalqan ʾam man ḫalaqnā
11c ʾin-nā ḫalaqnā-hum min ṭīnin lāzibin

Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11

你問他們吧！究竟是他們更難造呢？還是我所創造的更難造呢？我確已用黏泥創造

بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ

12a bal ʿaǧibta
12b wa-yasḫarūna

Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12

不然！你感到驚奇，而他們卻嘲笑你。

وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ

13a wa-ʾiḏā ḏukkirū
13b lā yaḏkurūna

And heed not when they are reminded, 13

他們雖聞教誨，卻不覺悟。

وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ

14a wa-ʾiḏā raʾaw ʾāyatan
14b yastasḫirūna

And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14

他們雖見蹟象，卻加以嘲笑。

وَقَالُوا إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

15a wa-qālū
15b ʾin hāḏā ʾil-lā siḥrun mubīnun

And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15

他們說：「這個只是明顯的魔術。

أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ

16a ʾa-ʾiḏā mitnā
16b wa-kunnā turāban wa-ʿiẓāman
16c ʾa-ʾin-nā la-mabʿūṯūna

When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16

難道我們死後，已變為塵土和朽骨的時候，必定復活嗎？

أَوَآبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ

17 ʾa-wa-ʾābāʾu-nā l-ʾawwalūna

And our forefathers? 17

連我們的祖先，也要復活嗎？」

قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَاخِرُونَ

18a qul
18b naʿam
18c wa-ʾantum dāḫirūna

Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18

你說：「是的！你們都要卑賤地復活。」

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ

19a fa-ʾinna-mā hiya zaǧratun wāḥidatun
19b fa-ʾiḏā hum yanẓurūna

There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19

才聽見一聲吶喊，他們就瞻望著，

وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ

20a wa-qālū
20b J yā-wayla-nā
20c hāḏā yawmu d-dīni

And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20

他們說：「傷哉我們！這就是報應之日。」

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ

21 hāḏā yawmu l-faṣli
21 R llaḏī kuntum bi-hī tukaḏḏibūna

This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21

這就是你們所否認的判決之日。

احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ

22 ḥšuru llaḏīna ẓalamū wa-ʾazwāǧa-hum wa-mā kānū yaʿbudūna

(And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship 22

你們應當集合不義者和他們的伴侶，以及他們捨真主而崇拜的，

مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ

23a min dūni llāhi
23b fa-hdū-hum ʾilā ṣirāṭi l-ǧaḥīmi

Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell; 23

然後指示他們火獄的道路，

وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُم مَّسْئُولُونَ

24a wa-qifū-hum
24b ʾinna-hum masʾūlūna

And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24

並攔住他們，因為他們的確要受審問。

مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ

25a mā la-kum
25b lā tanāṣarūna

What aileth you that ye help not one another? 25

你們怎麼不互助呢？

بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ

26 bal humu l-yawma mustaslimūna

Nay, but this day they make full submission. 26

不然！他們在今日是歸順的。

وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ

27a wa-ʾaqbala baʿḍu-hum ʿalā baʿḍin
27b yatasāʾalūna

And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 27

於是他們大家走向前來，互相談論，

قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ

28a qālū
28b ʾinna-kum kuntum taʾtūna-nā ʿani l-yamīni

They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28

這些人說：「你們確已用權力脅迫我們。」

قَالُوا بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ

29a qālū
29b bal lam takūnū muʾminīna

They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29

那些人說：「不然！你們自己原來不是信道者，

وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ

30a wa-mā kāna la-nā ʿalay-kum min sulṭānin
30b bal kuntum qawman ṭāġīna

We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30

我們對你們絕無權力。不然！你們是悖逆的民眾。

فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ

31a fa-ḥaqqa ʿalay-nā qawlu rabbi-nā
31b ʾin-nā la-ḏāʾiqūna

Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31

故我們應當受我們的主的判決，我們確是嘗試的。

فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوِينَ

32a fa-ʾaġwaynā-kum
32b ʾin-nā kunnā ġāwīna

Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32

所以我們使你們迷誤，我們自己也確是迷誤的。」

فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ

33 fa-ʾinna-hum yawmaʾiḏin fi l-ʿaḏābi muštarikūna

Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom. 33

在那日，他們必定同受刑罰。

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ

34 ʾin-nā ka-ḏālika nafʿalu bi-l-muǧrimīna

Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34

我必定這樣對待犯罪者。

إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

35a ʾinna-hum kānū
35b ʾiḏā qīla la-hum
35c lā ʾilāha ʾil-lā llāhu
35a yastakbirūna

For when it was said unto them, There is no God save Allah, they were scornful 35

他們確是這樣的：有人對他們說：「除真主外，絕無應受崇拜的」，他們就妄自尊

وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُو آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَّجْنُونٍ

36a wa-yaqūlūna
36b ʾa-ʾin-nā la-tārikū ʾālihati-nā li-šāʿirin maǧnūnin

And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet? 36

並且說：「難道我們務必要為一個狂妄的詩人，而拋棄我們的眾神靈嗎？」

بَلْ جَاءَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

37a bal ǧāʾa bi-l-ḥaqqi
37b wa-ṣaddaqa l-mursalīna

Nay, but he brought the Truth, and he confirmed those sent (before him). 37

不然！他昭示了真理，並証實了歷代的使者。

إِنَّكُمْ لَذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الْأَلِيمِ

38 ʾinna-kum la-ṯāʾiqū l-ʿaḏābi l-ʾalīmi

Lo! (now) verily ye taste the painful doom - 38

你們必定嘗試痛苦的刑罰，

وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

39 wa-mā tuǧzawna ʾil-lā mā kuntum taʿmalūna

Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39

你們只依自己的行為而受報酬。

إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ

40 ʾil-lā ʿibāda llāhi l-muḫlaṣīna

Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40

惟真主的虔誠的眾僕，

أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ

41 P ʾulāʾika
41 la-hum rizqun maʿlūmun

For them there is a known provision, 41

將享受一種可知的給養——

فَوَاكِهُ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ

42a fawākihu
42b wa-hum mukramūna

Fruits. And they will be honoured 42

各種水果，同時他們是受優待的；

فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

43 fī ǧannāti n-naʿīmi

In the Gardens of delight, 43

他們在恩澤的樂園中，

عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ

44 ʿalā sururin mutaqābilīna

On couches facing one another; 44

他們坐在床上，彼此相對；

يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِّن مَّعِينٍ

45 yuṭāfu ʿalay-him bi-kaʾsin min maʿīnin

A cup from a gushing spring is brought round for them, 45

有人以杯子在他們之間挨次傳遞，杯中滿盛醴泉，

بَيْضَاءَ لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّارِبِينَ

46 bayḍāʾa laḏḏatin li-š-šāribīna

White, delicious to the drinkers, 46

顏色潔白，飲者無不稱為美味；

لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ

47a lā fī-hā ġawlun
47b wa-lā hum ʿan-hā yunzafūna

Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47

醴泉中無麻醉物，他們也不因它而酩酊；

وَعِندَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ

48 wa-ʿinda-hum qāṣirātu ṭ-ṭarfi ʿīnun

And with them are those of modest gaze, with lovely eyes, 48

他們將有不視非禮的、美目的伴侶，

كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ

49 ka-ʾanna-hunna bayḍun maknūnun

(Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49

她們彷彿被珍藏的鴕卵樣；

فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ

50a fa-ʾaqbala baʿdu-hum ʿalā baʿḍin
50b yatasāʾalūna

And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 50

於是他們走向前來，互相談論。

قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ

51a qāla qaʾilun min-hum
51b P ʾin-nī
51b kāna l-ī qarīnun

A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51

他們中有一個人說：「我有一個朋友，

يَقُولُ أَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ

52a yaqūlu
52b ʾa-ʾinna-ka la-mina l-muṣaddiqīna

Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52

他問我：『你確是誠信的嗎？

أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ

53a ʾa-ʾiḏā mitnā
53b wa-kunnā turāban wa-ʿiẓāman
53c ʾa-ʾin-nā la-madīnūna

Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book? 53

難道我們死後，已變為塵土和朽骨的時候，還必定要受報酬嗎？』」

قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ

54a qāla
54b hal ʾantum muṭṭaliʿūna

He saith: Will ye look? 54

他說：「你們願看他嗎？」

فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَآهُ فِي سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ

55a fa-ṭṭalaʿa
55b fa-raʾā-hu fī sawāʾi l-ǧaḥīmi

Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell. 55

他俯視下面，就看見他在火獄的中央，

قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ

56a qāla
56b J ta-llāhi
56c ʾin kidta la-turdī-ni

He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56

他說：「以真主發誓，你的確幾乎陷害了我。

وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ

57a wa-law-lā niʿmatu rabb-ī
57b la-kuntu mina l-muḥḍarīna

And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I too had been of those haled forth (to doom). 57

如果沒有我的主的恩惠，我必在被拘禁者之列。

أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ

58 ʾa-fa-mā naḥnu bi-mayyitīna

Are we then not to die 58

我們不是再死的嗎？

إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا الْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

59a ʾil-lā mawtata-nā l-ʾūlā
59b wa-mā naḥnu bi-muʿaḏḏabīna

Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished? 59

唯有我們初次的死亡，而我們絕不會受懲罰嗎？

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ

60 ʾinna hāḏā la-huwa l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu

Lo! this is the supreme triumph. 60

這確是偉大的成功，

لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ الْعَامِلُونَ

61 li-miṯli hāḏā fa-l-yaʿmali l-ʿāmilūna

For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61

工作者應當為獲得這樣的成功而工作。」

أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُّزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ

62a ʾa-ḏālika ḫayrun nuzulan
62b ʾam šaǧaratu z-zaqqūmi

Is this better as a welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62

那是更善的款待呢？還是欑楛樹？

إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِّلظَّالِمِينَ

63 ʾin-nā ǧaʿalnā-hā fitnatan li-ẓ-ẓālimīna

Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63

我以它為不義者的折磨。

إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ

64 ʾinna-hā šaǧaratun
64 R taḫruǧu fī ʾaṣli l-ǧaḥīmi

Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64

它是在火獄底生長的一棵樹，

طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُءُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ

65 ṭalʿu-hā ka-ʾanna-hū ruʾūsu š-šayāṭīni

Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65

它的花篦，彷彿魔頭。

فَإِنَّهُمْ لَآكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِئُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ

66a fa-ʾinna-hum la-ʾākilūna min-hā
66b fa-māliʾūna min-hā l-buṭūna

And lo! they verily must eat thereof, and fill (their) bellies therewith. 66

他們必定要吃那些果實，而以它充實肚腹。

ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ

67 ṯumma ʾinna la-hum ʿalay-hā la-šawban min ḥamīmin

And afterward, lo! thereupon they have a drink of boiling water 67

然後他們必定要在那些果實上加飲沸水的混湯，

ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى الْجَحِيمِ

68 ṯumma ʾinna marǧiʿa-hum la-ʾilā l-ǧaḥīmi

And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68

然後他們必定要歸於火獄。

إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا آبَاءَهُمْ ضَالِّينَ

69 ʾinna-hum ʾalfaw ʾābāʾa-hum ḍāllīna

They indeed found their fathers astray, 69

他們必定會發現他們的祖先是迷誤的，

فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ

70 fa-hum ʿalā ʾāṯāri-him yuhraʿūna

But they make haste (to follow) in their footsteps. 70

他們卻依著他們的蹤跡而奔馳。

وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

71 wa-la-qad ḍalla qabla-hum ʾakṯaru l-ʾawwalīna

And verily most of the men of old went astray before them, 71

在他們之前，大半的古人確已迷誤了。

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ

72 wa-la-qad ʾarsalnā fī-him munḏirīna

And verily We sent among them warners. 72

我在他們之間，確已派遣過許多警告者。

فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ

73a fa-nẓur
73b kayfa kāna ʿāqibatu l-munḏarīna

Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73

你看！被警告者的結局是怎樣的？

إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ

74 ʾil-lā ʿibāda llāhi l-muḫlaṣīna

Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 74

除非真主的純潔的僕人們。

وَلَقَدْ نَادَانَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيبُونَ

75a wa-la-qad nādā-nā nūḥun
75b J fa-la-niʿma l-muǧībūna

And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer. 75

努哈確已向我祈禱，我是最善於應答的！

وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ

76 wa-naǧǧaynā-hu wa-ʾahla-hū mina l-karbi l-ʿaẓīmi

And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76

我拯救他和他的信徒們脫離大難。

وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمُ الْبَاقِينَ

77 wa-ǧaʿalnā ḏurrīyata-hū humu l-bāqīna

And made his seed the survivors, 77

我只使他的子孫得以生存。

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ

78 wa-taraknā ʿalay-hi fi l-ʾāḫirīna

And left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 78

我使他的令名，永存於後代。

سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ

79 salāmun ʿalā nūḥin fi l-ʿālamīna

Peace be unto Noah among the peoples! 79

在各民族中，都有人說：「祝努哈平安！」

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

80 ʾin-nā ka-ḏālika naǧzī l-muḥsinīna

Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80

我必定要這樣報酬行善者們。

إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

81 ʾinna-hū min ʿibādi-nā l-muʾminīna

Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81

他確是我的信道的僕人。

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ

82 ṯumma ʾaġraqnā l-ʾāḫarīna

Then We did drown the others. 82

然後，我使別的人淹死。

وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِ لَإِبْرَاهِيمَ

83 wa-ʾinna min šīʿati-hī la-ʾibrāhīma

And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83

他的宗派中，確有易卜拉欣。

إِذْ جَاءَ رَبَّهُ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ

84 ʾiḏ ǧāʾa rabba-hū bi-qalbin salīmin

When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84

當時，他帶著健全的心靈，來見他的主。

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ

85a ʾiḏ qāla li-ʾabī-hi wa-qawmi-hī
85b māḏā taʿbudūna

When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85

當時，他對他的父親和宗族說：「你們崇拜甚麼？

أَئِفْكًا آلِهَةً دُونَ اللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ

86 ʾa-ʾifkan ʾālihatan dūna llāhi turīdūna

Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86

難道你們欲捨真主而悖謬地崇拜許多神靈嗎？

فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

87 fa-mā ẓannu-kum bi-rabbi l-ʿālamīna

What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87

你們對全世界的主，究竟作甚麼猜測？」

فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ

88 fa-naẓara naẓratan fi n-nuǧūmi

And he glanced a glance at the stars 88

他看一看星宿，

فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ

89a fa-qāla
89b ʾin-nī saqīmun

Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89

然後說：「我勢必要害病。」

فَتَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ

90 fa-tawallaw ʿan-hu mudbirīna

And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90

他們就背離了他，

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰ آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ

91a fa-rāġa ʾilā ʾālihati-him
91b fa-qāla
91c ʾa-lā taʾkulūna

Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91

他就俏悄地走向他們的眾神靈，他說：「你們怎麼不吃東西呢？

مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ

92a mā la-kum
92b lā tanṭiqūna

What aileth you that ye speak not? 92

你們怎麼不說話呢？」

فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًا بِالْيَمِينِ

93 fa-rāġa ʿalay-him ḍarban bi-l-yamīni

Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93

他就悄俏地以右手打擊他們。

فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ

94a fa-ʾaqbalū ʾilay-hi
94b yaziffūna

And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94

眾人就急急忙忙地來看他，

قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ

95a qāla
95b ʾa-taʿbuduna mā tanḥitūna

He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95

他說：「你們崇拜自己所雕刻的偶像嗎？

وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

96 wa-llāhu ḫalaqa-kum wa-mā taʿmalūna

When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96

真主創造你們，和你們的行為。」

قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بُنْيَانًا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ

97a qālū
97b bnū la-hū bunyānan
97c fa-ʾalqū-hu fi l-ǧaḥīmi

They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97

他們說：「你們應當為他而修一個火爐，然後，將他投在烈火中。」

فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ

98a fa-ʾarādū bi-hī kaydan
98b fa-ǧaʿalnā-humu l-ʾasfalīna

And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98

他們欲謀害他，而我卻使他們變成佔下風的。

وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ

99a wa-qāla
99b ʾin-nī ḏāhibun ʾilā rabb-ī
99c sa-yahdī-ni

And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99

他說：「我果然要遷移到我的主所啟示我的地方去，他將指導我。

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

100 V rabb-i
100 hab l-ī mina ṣ-ṣāliḥīna

My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100

我的主呀！求你賞賜我一個善良的兒子。」

فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ

101 fa-baššarnā-hu bi-ġulāmin ḥalīmin

So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101

我就以一個寬厚的兒童向他報喜。

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ

102a fa-lammā balaġa maʿa-hū s-saʿya
102b qāla
102c V yā-bunay-ya
102c ʾin-nī ʾarā fi l-manāmi
102d ʾan-nī ʾaḏbaḥu-ka
102e fa-nẓur
102f māḏā tarā
102g qāla
102h V yā-ʾabat-i
102h fʿal mā tuʾmaru
102i sa-taǧidu-nī
102j ʾin šāʾa llāhu
102i mina ṣ-ṣābirīna

And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102

當他長到能幫著他操作的時候，他說：「我的小子啊！我確已夢見我宰你為犧牲。

فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ

103a fa-lammā ʾaslamā
103b wa-talla-hū li-l-ǧabīni

Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103

他們倆既已順服真主，而他使他的兒子側臥著。

وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَن يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ

104a wa-nādaynā-hu
104b ʾan
104b V yā-ʾibrāhīmu

We called unto him: O Abraham! 104

我喊叫說：「易卜拉欣啊！

قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

105a qad ṣaddaqta r-ruʾyā
105b ʾin-nā ka-ḏālika naǧzī l-muḥsinīna

Thou hast already fulfilled the vision. Lo! thus do We reward the good. 105

你確已証實那個夢了。」我必定要這樣報酬行善的人們。

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاءُ الْمُبِينُ

106 ʾinna hāḏā la-huwa l-balāʾu l-mubīnu

Lo! that verily was a clear test. 106

這確是明顯的考驗。

وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ

107 wa-fadaynā-hu bi-ḏibḥin ʿaẓīmin

Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107

我以一個偉大的犧牲贖了他。

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ

108 wa-taraknā ʿalay-hi fi l-ʾāḫirīna

And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108

我使他的令名，永存於後代。

سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

109 salāmun ʿalā ʾibrāhīma

Peace be unto Abraham! 109

「祝易卜拉欣平安！」

كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

110 ka-ḏālika naǧzī l-muḥsinīna

Thus do We reward the good. 110

我要這樣報酬行善者。

إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

111 ʾinna-hū min ʿibādi-nā l-muʾminīna

Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111

他確是我的信道的僕人，

وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

112 wa-baššarnā-hu bi-ʾisḥāqa nabīyan mina ṣ-ṣāliḥīna

And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112

我以將為先知和善人的易司哈格向他報喜。

وَبَارَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ إِسْحَاقَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِ مُبِينٌ

113a wa-bāraknā ʿalay-hi wa-ʿalā ʾisḥāqa
113b wa-min ḏurrīyati-himā muḥsinun
wa-ẓālimun li-nafsi-hī mubīnun

And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113

我降福於他和易司哈格。他們倆的子孫中，將有行善者和公然自暴自棄者。

وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ

114 wa-la-qad manannā ʿalā mūsā wa-hārūna

And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114

我確已施恩於穆薩和哈倫。

وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ

115 wa-naǧǧaynā-humā wa-qawma-humā mina l-karbi l-ʿaẓīmi

And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115

我曾使他們倆及其宗族，得免於大難。

وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ

116a wa-naṣarnā-hum
116b fa-kānū humu l-ġālibīna

And helped them so that they became the victors. 116

我曾援助他們，所以他們是勝利者。

وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ

117 wa-ʾātaynā-huma l-kitāba l-mustabīna

And We gave them the clear Scripture 117

我授予他們倆詳明的經典，

وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

118 wa-hadaynā-huma ṣ-ṣirāṭa l-mustaqīma

And showed them the right path. 118

我指引他們倆正直的道路，

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ

119 wa-taraknā ʿalay-himā fi l-ʾāḫirīna

And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119

我使他們倆的令名，永存於後代。

سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ

120 salāmun ʿalā mūsā wa-hārūna

Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120

「祝穆薩和哈倫平安！」

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

121 ʾin-nā ka-ḏālika naǧzī l-muḥsinīna

Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121

我必定要這樣報酬行善者。

إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

122 ʾinna-humā min ʿibādi-nā l-muʾminīna

Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122

他們倆確是我的信道的僕人。

وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

123 wa-ʾinna ʾilyāsa la-mina l-mursalīna

And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123

易勒雅斯確是使者。

إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

124a ʾiḏ qāla li-qawmi-hī
124b ʾa-lā tattaqūna

When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124

當時，他對他的宗族說：「難道你們不敬畏真主嗎？

أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِينَ

125a ʾa-tadʿūna baʿlan
125b wa-taḏarūna ʾaḥsana l-ḫāliqīna

Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125

難道你們祈禱白耳利，而捨棄最優越的創造者——

اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

126 llāha rabba-kum wa-rabba ʾābāʾi-kumu l-ʾawwalīna

Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126

真主，你們的主，你們祖先的主嗎？」

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ

127a fa-kaḏḏabū-hu
127b fa-ʾinna-hum la-muḥḍarūna

But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127

他們否認他，所以他們必定要被拘禁。

إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ

128 ʾil-lā ʿibāda llāhi l-muḫlaṣīna

Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128

惟真主的純潔的眾僕則不然。

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ

129 wa-taraknā ʿalay-hi fi l-ʾāḫirīna

And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129

我使他的令名，永存於後代。

سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ إِلْ يَاسِينَ

130 salāmun ʿalā ʾil yāsīna

Peace be unto Elias! 130

「祝易勒雅斯平安！」

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

131 ʾin-nā ka-ḏālika naǧzī l-muḥsinīna

Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131

我必定要這樣報酬行善者。

إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

132 ʾinna-hū min ʿibādi-nā l-muʾminīna

Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132

他確是我的信道的僕人。

وَإِنَّ لُوطًا لَّمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

133 wa-ʾinna lūṭan la-mina l-mursalīna

And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133

魯特確是使者。

إِذْ نَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ

134 ʾiḏ naǧǧaynā-hu wa-ʾahla-hū ʾaǧmaʿīna

When We saved him and his household, every one, 134

當時，我拯救了他，和他的全體信徒；

إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي الْغَابِرِينَ

135 ʾil-lā ʿaǧūzan fi l-ġābirīna

Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135

惟有一個老婦人和其餘的人，沒有獲得拯救。

ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآخَرِينَ

136 ṯumma dammarna l-ʾāḫarīna

Then We destroyed the others. 136

然後，我毀滅了別的許多人。

وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ

137 wa-ʾinna-kum la-tamurrūna ʿalay-him
muṣbiḥīna

And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137

你們的確朝夕經過他們的遺蹟，

وَبِاللَّيْلِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

138a wa-bi-l-layli
138b ʾa-fa-lā taʿqilūna

And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138

難道你們不了解嗎？

وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

139 wa-ʾinna yūnusa la-mina l-mursalīna

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139

優努司確是使者。

إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ

140 ʾiḏ ʾabaqa ʾilā l-fulki l-mašḥūni

When he fled unto the laden ship, 140

當時，他逃到那只滿載的船舶上。

فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُدْحَضِينَ

141a fa-sāhama
141b fa-kāna mina l-mudḥaḍīna

And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141

他就拈【門龜】，他卻是失敗的，

فَالْتَقَمَهُ الْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ

142a fa-ltaqama-hū l-ḥūtu
142b wa-huwa mulīmun

And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142

大魚就吞了他，同時，他是應受譴責的。

فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ

143 fa-law-lā ʾanna-hū kāna mina l-musabbiḥīna

And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143

假若他不是常讚頌真主者，

لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

144 la-labiṯa fī baṭni-hī ʾilā yawmi yubʿaṯūna

He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144

他必葬身魚腹，直到世人復活之日。

فَنَبَذْنَاهُ بِالْعَرَاءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ

145a fa-nabaḏnā-hu bi-l-ʿarāʾi
145b wa-huwa saqīmun

Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145

然後，我將他拋在旱地上，當時他是有病的。

وَأَنبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِّن يَقْطِينٍ

146 wa-ʾanbatnā ʿalay-hi šaǧaratan min yaqṭīnin

And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146

我使一棵瓠瓜，長起來遮著他。

وَأَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ مِائَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ

147 wa-ʾarsalnā-hu ʾilā miʾati ʾalfin ʾaw yazīdūna

And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147

我曾派遣他去教化十多萬民眾。

فَآمَنُوا فَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ

148a fa-ʾāmanū
148b fa-mattaʿnā-hum ʾilā ḥīnin

And they believed, therefor We gave them comfort for a while. 148

他們便歸信他，我使他們享樂至一定期。

فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ الْبَنُونَ

149a fa-stafti-him
149b ʾa-li-rabbi-ka l-banātu
149c wa-la-humu l-banūna

Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149

你問他們吧！你的主有許多女兒，他們卻有多少兒子呢？

أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِنَاثًا وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ

150a ʾam ḫalaqnā l-malāʾikata ʾināṯan
150b wa-hum šāhidūna

Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150

還是我曾將眾天神造成女性的，他們曾眼見我的創造呢？

أَلَا إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ

151 ʾa-lā ʾinna-hum min ʾifki-him la-yaqūlūna

Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say: 151

真的，他們因為自己的悖謬，必定要說：

وَلَدَ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ

152a walada llāhu
152b wa-ʾinna-hum la-kāḏibūna

Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152

「真主已生育了。」他們確是說謊者。

أَصْطَفَى الْبَنَاتِ عَلَى الْبَنِينَ

153 ʾa-ṣṭafa l-banāti ʿalā l-banīna

(And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153

難道他不要兒子，卻要女兒嗎？

مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ

154a mā la-kum
154b kayfa taḥkumūna

What aileth you? How judge ye? 154

你們有甚麼理由？你們怎麼這樣判斷呢？

أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

155 ʾa-fa-lā taḏakkarūna

Will ye not then reflect? 155

你們還不覺悟嗎？

أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَانٌ مُّبِينٌ

156 ʾam la-kum sulṭānun mubīnun

Or have ye a clear warrant? 156

難道你們有一個明証嗎？

فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

157a fa-ʾtū bi-kitābi-kum
157b ʾin kuntum ṣādiqīna

Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157

拿出你們的經典來吧，倘若你們是誠實的人！

وَجَعَلُوا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ

158a wa-ǧaʿalū bayna-hū wa-bayna l-ǧinnati nasaban
158b wa-la-qad ʿalimati l-ǧinnatu
158c ʾinna-hum la-muḥḍarūna

And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158

他們妄言他與精靈之間，有姻親關係。精靈確已知道他們將被拘禁

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

159 J subḥāna llāhi ʿam-mā yaṣifūna

Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159

——超絕哉真主！他是超乎他們的敘述的

إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ

160 ʾil-lā ʿibāda llāhi l-muḫlaṣīna

Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160

——惟真主的純潔的眾僕，不被拘禁。

فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ

161 fa-ʾinna-kum wa-mā taʿbudūna

Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161

你們和你們所崇拜的，

مَا أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ

162 mā ʾantum ʿalay-hi bi-fātinīna

Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162

絕不能把任何人引誘去崇拜他們，

إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ

163 ʾil-lā man huwa ṣāli l-ǧaḥīmi

Save him who is to burn in hell. 163

除非是將入火獄的人。

وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقَامٌ مَّعْلُومٌ

164a wa-mā min-nā
164b ʾil-lā la-hū maqāmun maʿlūmun

There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164

（眾天神說）：「我們人人都有一個指定的地位，

وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الصَّافُّونَ

165 wa-ʾin-nā la-naḥnu ṣ-ṣāffūna

Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165

我們必定是排班的，

وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْمُسَبِّحُونَ

166 wa-ʾin-nā la-naḥnu l-musabbiḥūna

Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166

我們必定是讚頌真主的。」

وَإِن كَانُوا لَيَقُولُونَ

167 wa-ʾin kānū la-yaqūlūna

And indeed they used to say: 167

他們的確常說：

لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًا مِّنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ

168 law ʾanna ʿinda-nā ḏikran mina l-ʾawwalīna

If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168

「假若我們有古人所遺留的教誨，

لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ

169 la-kunnā ʿibāda llāhi l-muḫlaṣīna

We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169

那末，我們必是真主的純潔的僕人。」

فَكَفَرُوا بِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

170a fa-kafarū bi-hī
170b fa-sawfa yaʿlamūna

Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know. 170

他們卻不信真主，他們不久就知道了。

وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ

171 wa-la-qad sabaqat kalimatu-nā li-ʿibādi-nā l-mursalīna

And verily Our word went forth of old unto Our bondmen sent (to warn) 171

我對我所派遣的僕人們已有約言在先了，

إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنصُورُونَ

172 ʾinna-hum la-humu l-manṣūrūna

That they verily would be helped, 172

他們必定是被援助的，

وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ

173 wa-ʾinna ǧunda-nā la-humu l-ġālibūna

And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173

我的軍隊，必定是勝利的。

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ

174 fa-tawalla ʿan-hum ḥattā ḥīnin

So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174

你暫時退避他們吧！

وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ

175a wa-ʾabṣir-hum
175b fa-sawfa yubṣirūna

And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175

你看著吧！他們不久就看見了。

أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

176 ʾa-fa-bi-ʿaḏābi-nā yastaʿǧilūna

Would they hasten on Our doom? 176

難道他們要求我的刑罰早日實現嗎？

فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنذَرِينَ

177a fa-ʾiḏā nazala bi-sāḥati-him
177b fa-sāʾa ṣabāḥu l-munḏarīna

But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morning for those who have been warned. 177

我的刑罰一旦降於他們的庭院的時候，被警告者的早晨，真惡劣呀！

وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ

178 wa-tawalla ʿan-hum ḥattā ḥīnin

Withdraw from them awhile 178

你暫時退避他們吧！

وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ

179a wa-ʾabṣir
179b fa-sawfa yubṣirūna

And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179

你看著吧！他們不久就看見了。

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

180 J subḥāna rabbi-ka rabbi l-ʿizzati ʿam-mā yaṣifūna

Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180

超絕哉你的主——尊榮的主宰！他是超乎他們的敘述的。

وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ

181 wa-salāmun ʿalā l-mursalīna

And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181

祝眾使者平安！

وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

182 wa-l-ḥamdu li-llāhi rabbi l-ʿālamīna

And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182

一切讚頌，全歸真主——全世界的主！
