Sūrat Ġāfir (40)
bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīmi

AL-GHAFIR (THE FORGIVER (GOD) ) Total Verses: 85 Revealed At: MAKKA. In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 0

40 赦宥者古蘭經第四 ○ 章這章是麥加的，全章共計八五節。

حم

1 ḥāʾ-mīm

Ha. Mim. 1

哈一，米目。

تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ

2 tanzīlu l-kitābi mina llāhi l-ʿazīzi l-ʿalīmi

The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Knower, 2

這部經典降自萬能全知的主——

غَافِرِ الذَّنبِ وَقَابِلِ التَّوْبِ شَدِيدِ الْعِقَابِ ذِي الطَّوْلِ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ

3a ġāfiri ḏ-ḏanbi wa-qābili t-tawbi šadīdi l-ʿiqābi ḏī ṭ-ṭawli
3b lā ʾilāha ʾil-lā huwa
3c ʾilay-hi l-maṣīru

The Forgiver of sin, the Accepter of repentance, the Stern in punishment, the Bountiful. There is no God save Him. Unto Him is the journeying. 3

赦宥罪過、准人懺悔、嚴厲懲罰、博施恩惠的主。除他外，絕無應受崇拜的；他確是最後的歸宿。

مَا يُجَادِلُ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَلَا يَغْرُرْكَ تَقَلُّبُهُمْ فِي الْبِلَادِ

4a mā yuǧādilu fī ʾāyāti llāhi ʾil-lā llaḏīna kafarū
4b fa-lā yaġrur-ka taqallubu-hum fī l-bilādi

None argue concerning the revelations of Allah save those who disbelieve, so let not their turn of fortune in the land deceive thee (O Muhammad). 4

只有不信道者，為真主的蹟象而爭論。你不要被他們在各城市的往來所迷惑。

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَالْأَحْزَابُ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ وَهَمَّتْ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ بِرَسُولِهِمْ لِيَأْخُذُوهُ وَجَادَلُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ فَأَخَذْتُهُمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ

5a kaḏḏabat qabla-hum qawmu nūḥin wa-l-ʾaḥzābu min baʿdi-him
5b wa-hammat kullu ʾummatin bi-rasūli-him
5c li-yaʾḫuḏū-hu
5d wa-ǧādalū bi-l-bāṭili
5e li-yudḥiḍū bi-hī l-ḥaqqa
5f fa-ʾaḫaḏtu-hum
5g fa-kayfa kāna ʿiqāb-i

The folk of Noah and the factions after them denied (their messengers) before these, and every nation purposed to seize their messenger and argued falsely, (thinking) thereby to refute the Truth. Then I seized them, and how (awful) was My punishment. 5

在他們之前，努哈的宗族，和後來的各民族，都否認眾使者，各民族都欲加害本族的使者；他們據謬妄而爭論，欲借此駁倒真理，故我懲治了他們。我的刑罰是怎樣的？

وَكَذَٰلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ

6a wa-ka-ḏālika ḥaqqat kalimatu rabbi-ka ʿalā llaḏīna kafarū
6b ʾanna-hum ʾaṣḥābu n-nāri

Thus was the word of thy Lord concerning those who disbelieve fulfilled: That they are owners of the Fire. 6

不信道者當這樣受你的主的判決，他們是居住火獄的。

الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ

7a llaḏīna yaḥmilūna l-ʿarša wa-man ḥawla-hū yusabbiḥūna bi-ḥamdi rabbi-him
7b wa-yuʾminūna bi-hī
7c wa-yastaġfirūna li-llaḏīna ʾāmanū
7d V rabba-nā
7d wasiʿta kulla šayin raḥmatan wa-ʿilman
7e fa-ġfir li-llaḏīna tābū wa-ttabaʿū sabīla-ka
7f wa-qi-him ʿaḏāba l-ǧaḥīmi

Those who bear the Throne, and all who are round about it, hymn the praises of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who believe (saying): Our Lord! Thou comprehendest all things in mercy and knowledge, therefor forgive those who repent and follow Thy way. Ward off from them the punishment of hell. 7

支持寶座的和環繞寶座的，都讚頌他們的主，都歸信他，都為信道者求饒，他們說：「我們的主啊！在恩惠方面和知覺方面，你是包羅萬物的，求你赦宥悔過自新、而且遵循你的正道者。求你保護他們，免受火獄的刑罰。

رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

8a V rabba-nā
8a wa-ʾadḫil-hum ǧannāti ʿadnin
8a R llatī waʿadta-hum
8a wa-man ṣalaḥa min ʾābāʾi-him wa-ʾazwāǧi-him wa-ḏurrīyāti-him
8b ʾinna-ka ʾanta l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīmu

Our Lord! And make them enter the Gardens of Eden which thou hast promised them, with such of their fathers and their wives and their descendants as do right. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Mighty, the Wise. 8

我們的主啊！求你讓他們和他們的行善的祖先、妻子和子孫，一同進入你所應許他們的永久的樂園。你確是萬能的，確是至睿的。

وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَن تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ

9a wa-qi-himu s-sayyiʾāti
9b wa-man taqi s-sayyiʾāti yawmaʾiḏin
9c fa-qad raḥimta-hū
9d wa-ḏālika huwa l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu

And ward off from them ill-deeds; and he from whom Thou wardest off ill-deeds that day, him verily hast Thou taken into mercy. That is the supreme triumph. 9

求你使他們得免於刑罰。在那日，你使誰得免於刑罰，你已慈憫了誰，那確是偉大的成功。」

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُنَادَوْنَ لَمَقْتُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ مِن مَّقْتِكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ إِذْ تُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى الْإِيمَانِ فَتَكْفُرُونَ

10a ʾinna llaḏīna kafarū yunādawna
10b la-maqtu llāhi ʾakbaru min maqti-kum ʾanfusa-kum
10c ʾiḏ tudʿawna ʾilā l-ʾīmāni
10d fa-takfurūna

Lo! (on that day) those who disbelieve are informed by proclamation: Verily Allah’s abhorrence is more terrible than your abhorrence one of another, when ye were called unto the faith but did refuse. 10

不信道者，必定要被召喚說：「真主痛恨你們，甚於你們痛恨自身，因為你們曾被召至正信，但你們不信。」

قَالُوا رَبَّنَا أَمَتَّنَا اثْنَتَيْنِ وَأَحْيَيْتَنَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَاعْتَرَفْنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا فَهَلْ إِلَىٰ خُرُوجٍ مِّن سَبِيلٍ

11a qalū
11b V rabba-nā
11b ʾamatta-nā ṯnatayni
11c wa-ʾaḥyayta-nā ṯnatayni
11d fa-ʿtarafnā bi-ḏunūbi-nā
11e fa-hal ʾilā ḫurūǧin min sabīlin

They say: Our Lord! Twice hast Thou made us die, and twice hast Thou made us live. Now we confess our sins. Is there any way to go out? 11

他們要說：「我們的主啊！你使我們死兩次，你使我們生兩次，故我們承認我們的罪過了。還能有一條出路嗎？」

ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّهُ إِذَا دُعِيَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ كَفَرْتُمْ وَإِن يُشْرَكْ بِهِ تُؤْمِنُوا فَالْحُكْمُ لِلَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْكَبِيرِ

12a ḏālikum
12b bi-ʾanna-hū
12c ʾiḏā duʿiya llāhu waḥda-hū
12b kafartum
12d wa-ʾin yušrak bi-hī
12e tuʾminū
12f fa-l-ḥukmu li-llāhi l-ʿalīyi l-kabīri

(It is said unto them): This is (your plight) because, when Allah only was invoked, ye disbelieved, but when some partner was ascribed to Him ye were believing. But the command belongeth only to Allah, the Sublime, the Majestic. 12

這是因為祈禱真主的時候，你們否認了他的獨一；如果以物配他，你們就承認那是合理的，故判決只歸真主——至尊至大的主。

هُوَ الَّذِي يُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُنَزِّلُ لَكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ رِزْقًا وَمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ إِلَّا مَن يُنِيبُ

13a huwa llaḏī yurī-kum ʾāyāti-hī
13b wa-yunazzilu la-kum mina s-samāʾi rizqan
13c wa-mā yataḏakkaru ʾil-lā man yunību

He it is Who showeth you His portents, and sendeth down for you provision from the sky. None payeth heed save him who turneth (unto Him) repentant. 13

他把他的蹟象昭示你們，他為你們從雲中降下給養；只有歸依者能覺悟。

فَادْعُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ

14a fa-dʿū llāha
muḫliṣīna la-hū d-dīna
14b wa-law kariha l-kāfirūna

Therefor (O believers) pray unto Allah, making religion pure for Him (only), however much the disbelievers be averse - 14

你們當祈禱真主，誠心順服他，即使不信道者不願意。

رَفِيعُ الدَّرَجَاتِ ذُو الْعَرْشِ يُلْقِي الرُّوحَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ لِيُنذِرَ يَوْمَ التَّلَاقِ

15a rafīʿu d-daraǧāti ḏū l-ʿarši
15b yulqī r-rūḥa min ʾamri-hī ʿalā man yašāʾu min ʿibādi-hī
15c li-yunḏira yawma t-talāqi

The Exalter of Ranks, the Lord of the Throne. He causeth the Spirit of His command upon whom He will of His slaves, that He may warn of the Day of Meeting, 15

他是至尊的，是有寶座的，他依自己的決定發出的啟示，授予他所意欲的僕人，以便他警告眾人以相會之日——

يَوْمَ هُم بَارِزُونَ لَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْهُمْ شَيْءٌ لِّمَنِ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ

16a yawma hum bārizūna
16b lā yaḫfā ʿalā llāhi min-hum šayʾun
16c li-mani l-mulku l-yawma
16d li-llāhi l-wāḥidi l-qahhāri

The day when they come forth, nothing of them being hidden from Allah. Whose is the Sovereignty this day? It is Allah’s, the One, the Almighty. 16

他們將出現之日，他們的事，對真主毫無隱匿。「今日國權是誰的？」「是獨一至尊的真主的。」

الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَا ظُلْمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ

17a l-yawma tuǧzā kullu nafsin bi-mā kasabat lā ẓulma l-yawma
17b ʾinna llāha sarīʿu l-ḥisābi

This day is each soul requited that which it hath earned; no wrong (is done) this day. Lo! Allah is swift at reckoning. 17

今日，人人都為自己所做的而受報酬。今日，毫無虧枉，真主確是稽核神速的。

وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْآزِفَةِ إِذِ الْقُلُوبُ لَدَى الْحَنَاجِرِ كَاظِمِينَ مَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ يُطَاعُ

18a wa-ʾanḏir-hum yawma l-ʾāzifati
18b ʾiḏi l-qulūbu ladā l-ḥanāǧiri
kāẓimīna
18c mā li-ẓ-ẓālimīna min ḥamīmin wa-lā šafīʿin
18c R yuṭāʿu

Warn them (O Muhammad) of the Day of the approaching (doom), when the hearts will be choking the throats, (when) there will be no friend for the wrong-doers, nor any intercessor who will be heard. 18

你應當以臨近之日警告他們，那時他們的心將升到咽喉，他滿腹憂愁。不義者，將沒有任何親友，也沒有奏效的說情者。

يَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ

19 yaʿlamu ḫāʾinata l-ʾaʿyuni wa-mā tuḫfī ṣ-ṣudūru

He knoweth the traitor of the eyes, and that which the bosoms hide. 19

他知道偷眼和心事。

وَاللَّهُ يَقْضِي بِالْحَقِّ وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ لَا يَقْضُونَ بِشَيْءٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

20a wa-llāhu yaqḍī bi-l-ḥaqqi
20b wa-llaḏīna yadʿūna min dūni-hī lā yaqḍūna bi-šayʾin
20c ʾinna llāha huwa s-samīʿu l-baṣīru

Allah judgeth with truth, while those to whom they cry instead of Him judge not at all. Lo! Allah, He is the Hearer, the Seer. 20

真主本真理而裁判。他們捨他而崇拜的，不奉任何物而裁判。真主確是全聰的，確是全明的。

أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَانُوا هُمْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَآثَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مِن وَاقٍ

21a ʾa-wa-lam yasīrū fī l-ʾarḍi
21b fa-yanẓurū
21c kayfa kāna ʿāqibatu llaḏīna kānū min qabli-him
21d kānū hum ʾašadda min-hum qūwatan wa-ʾāṯāran fī l-ʾarḍi
21e fa-ʾaḫaḏa-humu llāhu bi-ḏunūbi-him
21f wa-mā kāna la-hum mina llāhi min wāqin

Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those who disbelieved before them? They were mightier than these in power and (in the) traces (which they left behind them) in the earth. Yet Allah seized them for their sins, and they had no protector from Allah. 21

難道他們沒有在大地上旅行以觀察前人的結局是怎樣的嗎？前人比他們勢力更大、成績更多；但真主因他們的罪過而懲治了他們，他們對真主沒有任何保衛者。

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَكَفَرُوا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ قَوِيٌّ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ

22a ḏālika
22b bi-ʾanna-hum kānat taʾtī-him rusulu-hum bi-l-bayyināti
22c fa-kafarū
22d fa-ʾaḫaḏa-humu llāhu
22e ʾinna-hū qawīyun šadīdu l-ʿiqābi

That was because their messengers kept bringing them clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty) but they disbelieved; so Allah seized them. Lo! He is Strong, severe in punishment. 22

那是因為我的眾使者曾帶著許多明証來臨他們，但他們不歸信，故真主懲罰了他們。他確是至剛的。他的刑罰確是嚴厲的，

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا وَسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ

23 wa-la-qad ʾarsalnā mūsā bi-ʾāyāti-nā wa-sulṭānin mubīnin

And verily We sent Moses with Our revelations and a clear warrant 23

我確已派遣穆薩帶著我的蹟象和明証，

إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَقَارُونَ فَقَالُوا سَاحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ

24a ʾilā firʿawna wa-hāmāna wa-qārūna
24b fa-qālū
24c sāḥirun kaḏḏābun

Unto Pharaoh and Haman and Korah, but they said: A lying sorcerer! 24

去教化法老、哈曼和戈倫，但他們說：「他是謬妄的術士。」

فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا اقْتُلُوا أَبْنَاءَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ وَاسْتَحْيُوا نِسَاءَهُمْ وَمَا كَيْدُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ

25a fa-lammā ǧāʾa-hum bi-l-ḥaqqi min ʿindi-nā
25b qālū
25c qtulū ʾabnāʾa llaḏīna ʾāmanū maʿa-hū
25d wa-staḥyū nisāʾa-hum
25e wa-mā kaydu l-kāfirīna ʾil-lā fī ḍalālin

And when he brought them the Truth from Our presence, they said: Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and spare their women. But the plot of disbelievers is in naught but error. 25

他把從我這裡發出的真理昭示他們的時候，他們說：「你們當殺戮與他一同信道者的兒子，只留下他們的女兒。」不信道者的計策，只在迷誤中。

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَن يُظْهِرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ

26a wa-qāla firʿawnu
26b ḏarū-nī
26c ʾaqtul mūsā
26d wa-l-yadʿu rabba-hū
26e ʾin-nī ʾaḫāfu
26f ʾan yubaddila dīna-kum
26g ʾaw ʾan yuẓhira fī l-ʾarḍi l-fasāda

And Pharaoh said: Suffer me to kill Moses, and let him cry unto his Lord. Lo! I fear that he will alter your religion or that he will cause confusion in the land. 26

法老說：「你們讓我殺死穆薩！叫他祈禱他的主去吧！我的確怕他改變你們的宗教，或在國內作亂。」

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ إِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ

27a wa-qāla mūsā
27 ʾin-nī ʿuḏtu bi-rabb-ī wa-rabbi-kum min kulli mutakabbirin
27 R lā yuʾminu bi-yawmi l-ḥisābi

Moses said: Lo! I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every scorner who believeth not in a Day of Reckoning. 27

穆薩說：「我確已求庇於我的主，亦即你們的主，免遭不信清算日的一切自大者的侵害。」

وَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ مِّنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيمَانَهُ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَن يَقُولَ رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ وَقَدْ جَاءَكُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ وَإِن يَكُ كَاذِبًا فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُ وَإِن يَكُ صَادِقًا يُصِبْكُم بَعْضُ الَّذِي يَعِدُكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذَّابٌ

28a wa-qāla raǧulun muʾminun min ʾāli firʿawna
28a R yaktumu ʾīmāna-hū
28b ʾa-taqtulūna raǧulan
28c ʾan yaqūla
28d rabb-iya llāhu
28e wa-qad ǧāʾa-kum bi-l-bayyināti min rabbi-kum
28f wa-ʾin yaku kāḏiban
28g fa-ʿalay-hi kaḏibu-hū
28h wa-ʾin yaku ṣādiqan
28i yuṣib-kum baʿḍu llaḏī yaʿidu-kum
28j ʾinna llāha lā yahdī man huwa musrifun kaḏḏābun

And a believing man of Pharaoh’s family, who hid his faith, said: Would ye kill a man because he saith: My Lord is Allah, and hath brought you clear proofs from your Lord? If he is lying, then his lie is upon him; and if he is truthful, then some of that wherewith he threateneth you will strike you. Lo! Allah guideth not one who is a prodigal, a liar. 28

法老族中一個秘密歸信的信士說：「一個人把從你們的主發出的明証昭示你們，並說『我的主是真主』，你們就要殺戮他嗎？如果他是一個說謊者，那末，他自受謊言之害；如果他是一個誠實者，那末，他所用以恫嚇你們的災難，將有一部分來臨你們，真主必定不引導過份的常說謊言者。

يَا قَوْمِ لَكُمُ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ ظَاهِرِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِن بَأْسِ اللَّهِ إِن جَاءَنَا قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَا أُرِيكُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَرَىٰ وَمَا أَهْدِيكُمْ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ الرَّشَادِ

29a V yā-qawm-i
29a la-kumu l-mulku l-yawma
ẓāhirīna fī l-ʾarḍi
29b fa-man yanṣuru-nā min baʾsi llāhi
29c ʾin ǧāʾa-nā
29d qāla firʿawnu
29e mā ʾurī-kum ʾil-lā mā ʾarā
29f wa-mā ʾahdī-kum ʾil-lā sabīla r-rašādi

O my people! Yours is the kingdom to-day, ye being uppermost in the land. But who would save us from the wrath of Allah should it reach us? Pharaoh said: I do but show you what I think, and I do but guide you to wise policy. 29

我的宗族啊！今日國權只歸你們，你們在國中稱雄。如果真主的刑罰來臨，那末，誰助我們抵抗它呢？」法老說：「我只以我的主張指示你們，我只引導你們走上正道。」

وَقَالَ الَّذِي آمَنَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُم مِّثْلَ يَوْمِ الْأَحْزَابِ

30a wa-qāla llaḏī ʾāmana
30b V yā-qawm-i
30b ʾin-nī ʾaḫāfu ʿalay-kum miṯla yawmi l-ʾaḥzābi

And he who believed said: O my people! Lo! I fear for you a fate like that of the factions (of old); 30

信道者說：「我的宗族啊！我的確怕你們遭遇前人所遭遇的災難，

مِثْلَ دَأْبِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ وَمَا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعِبَادِ

31a miṯla daʾbi qawmi nūḥin wa-ʿādin wa-ṯamūda wa-llaḏīna min baʿdi-him
31b wa-mā llāhu yurīdu ẓulman li-l-ʿibādi

A plight like that of Noah’s folk, and A’ad and Thamud, and those after them, and Allah willeth no injustice for (His) slaves. 31

如努哈的宗族、阿德人、賽莫德人，以及在他們之後的人所遭受的災禍一樣。真主是不欲虧枉眾僕的。

وَيَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَوْمَ التَّنَادِ

32 V wa-yā-qawm-i
32 ʾin-nī ʾaḫāfu ʿalay-kum yawma t-tanādi

And, O my people! Lo! I fear for you a Day of Summoning, 32

我的宗族啊！我的確為你們擔心互相呼叫之日；

يَوْمَ تُوَلُّونَ مُدْبِرِينَ مَا لَكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ

33a yawma tuwallūna
mudbirīna
33b mā la-kum mina llāhi min ʿāṣimin
33c wa-man yuḍlili llāhu
33d fa-mā la-hū min hādin

A day when ye will turn to flee, having no preserver from Allah: and he whom Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no guide. 33

在那日，你們將轉身退後，而沒有任何保護者能使你們不受真主的懲罰。真主使誰迷誤，誰沒有向導。

وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِن قَبْلُ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا جَاءَكُم بِهِ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ رَسُولًا كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُّرْتَابٌ

34a wa-la-qad ǧāʾa-kum yūsufu min qablu bi-l-bayyināti
34b fa-mā ziltum fī šakkin mim mā ǧāʾa-kum bi-hī
34c ḥattā
34d ʾiḏā halaka
34c qultum
34e lan yabʿaṯa llāhu min baʿdi-hī rasūlan
34f ka-ḏālika yuḍillu llāhu man huwa musrifun murtābun

And verily Joseph brought you of old clear proofs, yet ye ceased not to be in doubt concerning what he brought you till, when he died, ye said: Allah will not send any messenger after him. Thus Allah deceiveth him who is a prodigal, a doubter. 34

以前優素福確已將許多明証昭示你們，但你們對他所昭示你們的明証，依然在疑惑中，直到他死去的時候，你們還說：『在他之後，真主絕不會再派遣任何使者了。』真主這樣使過份的懷疑者迷誤。」

الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَعِندَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ

35a allaḏīna yuǧādilūna fī ʾāyāti llāhi bi-ġayri sulṭānin
35b ʾatā-hum kabura maqtan ʿinda llāhi wa-ʿinda llaḏīna ʾāmanū
35c ka-ḏālika yaṭbaʿu llāhu ʿalā kulli qalbi mutakabbirin ǧabbārin

Those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah without any warrant that hath come unto them, it is greatly hateful in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who believe. Thus doth Allah print on every arrogant, disdainful heart. 35

沒有真憑實據，而爭論真主的蹟象者，據真主和眾信士看來，是很討厭的。真主這樣封閉一切自大的高傲者的心。

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَا هَامَانُ ابْنِ لِي صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّي أَبْلُغُ الْأَسْبَابَ

36a wa-qāla firʿawnu
36b V yā-hāmānu
36b bni l-ī ṣarḥan
36c laʿall-ī ʾabluġu l-ʾasbāba

And Pharaoh said: O Haman! Build for me a tower that haply I may reach the roads, 36

法老說：「哈曼啊！你為我建造一座高樓，或許我能找到若干線索——

أَسْبَابَ السَّمَاوَاتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَىٰ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُ كَاذِبًا وَكَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَصُدَّ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا فِي تَبَابٍ

37a ʾasbāba s-samāwāti
37b fa-ʾaṭṭaliʿa ʾilā ʾilāhi mūsā
37c wa-ʾin-nī la-ʾaẓunnu-hū kāḏiban
37d wa-ka-ḏālika zuyyina li-firʿawna sūʾu ʿamali-hī
37e wa-ṣudda ʿani s-sabīli
37f wa-mā kaydu firʿawna ʾil-lā fī tabābin

The roads of the heavens, and may look upon the god of Moses, though verily I think him a liar. Thus was the evil that he did made fairseeming unto Pharaoh, and he was debarred from the (right) way. The plot of Pharaoh ended but in ruin. 37

天上的線索，因而能窺見穆薩的神靈；我確信他是一個說謊者。」法老的惡行，這樣迷惑了他自己，妨礙了他走上正道。法老的計策，只歸於毀滅。

وَقَالَ الَّذِي آمَنَ يَا قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُونِ أَهْدِكُمْ سَبِيلَ الرَّشَادِ

38a wa-qāla llaḏī ʾāmana
38b V yā-qawm-i
38b ttabiʿū-ni
38c ʾahdi-kum sabīla r-rašādi

And he who believed said: O my people! Follow me. I will show you the way of right conduct. 38

那個歸信者又說：「我的宗族啊！你們順從我，我就把你們引上正道。

يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّمَا هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ وَإِنَّ الْآخِرَةَ هِيَ دَارُ الْقَرَارِ

39a V yā-qawm-i
39a ʾinna-mā hāḏihī l-ḥāyatu d-dunyā matāʿun
39b wa-ʾinna l-ʾāḫirata hiya dāru l-qarāri

O my people! Lo! this life of the world is but a passing comfort, and lo! the Hereafter, that is the enduring home. 39

我的宗族啊！今世的生活，只是一種享受，後世才是安宅。

مَنْ عَمِلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلَا يُجْزَىٰ إِلَّا مِثْلَهَا وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ يُرْزَقُونَ فِيهَا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

40a man ʿamila sayyiʾatan
40b fa-lā yuǧzā ʾil-lā miṯla-hā
40c wa-man ʿamila ṣāliḥan min ḏakarin ʾaw ʾunṯā
40d wa-huwa muʾminun
40e fa-ʾulāʾika yadḫulūna l-ǧannata
40f yurzaqūna fī-hā bi-ġayri ḥisābin

Whoso doeth an ill-deed, he will be repaid the like thereof, while whoso doeth right, whether male or female, and is a believer, (all) such will enter the Garden, where they will be nourished without stint. 40

作惡者只受同樣的惡報；行善而且信道的男子或女子，將入樂園，受無量的供給。

وَيَا قَوْمِ مَا لِي أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى النَّجَاةِ وَتَدْعُونَنِي إِلَى النَّارِ

41a V wa-yā-qawm-i
41a mā l-ī ʾadʿū-kum ʾilā n-naǧāti
41b wa-tadʿūna-nī ʾilā n-nāri

And, O my people! What aileth me that I call you unto deliverance when ye call me unto the Fire? 41

我的宗族啊！怎麼我召你們於得渡，而你們卻召我於火獄呢？

تَدْعُونَنِي لِأَكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَأُشْرِكَ بِهِ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَأَنَا أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى الْعَزِيزِ الْغَفَّارِ

42a tadʿūna-nī
42b li-ʾakfura bi-llāhi
42c wa-ʾušrika bi-hī mā laysa l-ī bi-hī ʿilmun
42d wa-ʾanā ʾadʿū-kum ʾilā l-ʿazīzi l-ġaffāri

Ye call me to disbelieve in Allah and ascribe unto Him as partners that whereof I have no knowledge, while I call you unto the Mighty, the Forgiver. 42

你們教我不要信真主，而以我所不知的事物配他；我卻要教你們崇拜萬能的至赦的主。

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ دَعْوَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَأَنَّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ هُمْ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ

43a lā ǧarama
43b P ʾanna-mā tadʿūna-nī ʾilay-hi
43b laysa la-hū daʿwatun fī d-dunyā wa-lā fī l-ʾāḫirati
43c wa-ʾanna maradda-nā ʾilā llāhi
43d wa-ʾanna l-musrifīna hum ʾaṣḥābu n-nāri

Assuredly that whereunto ye call me hath no claim in the world or in the Hereafter, and our return will be unto Allah, and the prodigals will be owners of the Fire. 43

其實，你們召我去崇拜的東西，在今世和後世，都不能應答任何祈禱。我們的歸宿是真主，過份者必是火獄的居民。

فَسَتَذْكُرُونَ مَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِي إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ

44a fa-sa-taḏkurūna mā ʾaqūlu la-kum
44b wa-ʾufawwiḍu ʾamr-ī ʾilā llāhi
44c ʾinna llāha baṣīrun bi-l-ʿibādi

And ye will remember what I say unto you. I confide my cause unto Allah. Lo! Allah is Seer of (His) slaves. 44

你們將來會想起我對你們說的話。我把我的事情委托真主，真主確是明察眾僕的。」

فَوَقَاهُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا وَحَاقَ بِآلِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ الْعَذَابِ

45a fa-waqā-hu llāhu sayyiʾāti mā makarū
45b wa-ḥāqa bi-ʾāli firʿawna sūʾu l-ʿaḏābi

So Allah warded off from him the evils which they plotted, while a dreadful doom encompassed Pharaoh’s folk, 45

真主保護他免遭他們所計謀的禍害，並以嚴刑降於法老的宗族；

النَّارُ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا غُدُوًّا وَعَشِيًّا وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ أَدْخِلُوا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَشَدَّ الْعَذَابِ

46a n-naru
46a R yuʿraḍūna ʿalay-hā ġudūwan wa-ʿašīyan
46b wa-yawma taqūmu s-sāʿatu
46c ʾadḫilū ʾāla firʿawna ʾašadda l-ʿaḏābi

"Cast ye the People of Pharaoh into the severest Penalty!" P: The Fire; they are exposed to it morning and evening; and on the day when the Hour upriseth (it is said): Cause Pharaoh’s folk to enter the most awful doom. 46

他們朝夕受火刑。復活時來臨之日，或者將說：「你們讓法老的宗族進去受最嚴厲的刑罰吧！」

وَإِذْ يَتَحَاجُّونَ فِي النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ النَّارِ

47a wa-ʾiḏ yataḥāǧǧūna fī n-nāri
47b fa-yaqūlu ḍ-ḍuʿāfāʾu li-llaḏīna stakbarū
47c ʾin-nā kunnā la-kum tabaʿan
47d fa-hal ʾantum muġnūna ʿan-nā naṣīban mina n-nāri

And when they wrangle in the Fire, the weak say unto those who were proud: Lo! we were a following unto you; will ye therefor rid us of a portion of the Fire? 47

那時他們在火獄中互相爭論，懦弱者對自大者說：「我們確已做過你們的順從者，你們能替我們解除一部分火刑嗎？」

قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُلٌّ فِيهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ حَكَمَ بَيْنَ الْعِبَادِ

48a qāla llaḏīna stakbarū
48b ʾin-nā kullun fī-hā
48c ʾinna llāha qad ḥakama bayna l-ʿibādi

Those who were proud say: Lo! we are all (together) herein. Lo! Allah hath judged between (His) slaves. 48

自大者說：「我們大家的確都在火獄中，真主確已替眾僕判決了。」

وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ فِي النَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ يُخَفِّفْ عَنَّا يَوْمًا مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ

49a wa-qāla llaḏīna fī n-nāri li-ḫazanati ǧahannama
49b dʿū rabba-kum
49c yuḫaffif ʿan-nā yawman mina l-ʿaḏābi

And those in the Fire say unto the guards of hell: Entreat your Lord that He relieve us of a day of the torment. 49

在火獄裡的人對管理火獄的天神說：「請你們祈禱你們的主，求他給我們減輕一日的刑罰。」

قَالُوا أَوَلَمْ تَكُ تَأْتِيكُمْ رُسُلُكُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ قَالُوا فَادْعُوا وَمَا دُعَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ

50a qālū
50b ʾa-wa-lam taku taʾtī-kum rusulu-kum bi-l-bayyināti
50c qālū
50d balā
50e qālū
50f fa-dʿū
50g wa-mā duʿāʾu l-kāfirīna ʾil-lā fī ḍalālin

They say: Came not your messengers unto you with clear proofs? They say: Yea, verily. They say: Then do ye pray, although the prayer of disbelievers is in vain. 50

他們說：「難道你們族中的使者，沒有昭示你們若干明証嗎？」他們說：「不然！」天神們說：「你們祈禱吧！但不信道者的祈禱只在迷誤中。」

إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْأَشْهَادُ

51a ʾin-nā la-nanṣuru rusula-nā wa-llaḏīna ʾāmanū fī l-ḥayāti d-dunyā
wa-yawma yaqūmu l-ʾašhādu

Lo! We verily do help Our messengers, and those who believe, in the life of the world and on the day when the witnesses arise, 51

我必定援助我的眾使者和眾信士，在今世生活中，和在眾見証起立之日——

يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ الظَّالِمِينَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ

52a yawma lā yanfaʿu ẓ-ẓālimīna maʿḏiratu-hum
52b wa-la-humu l-laʿnatu
52c wa-la-hum sūʾu d-dāri

The day when their excuse availeth not the evil-doers, and theirs is the curse, and theirs the ill abode. 52

不義者的托辭無裨於他們之日，他們將遭棄絕，他們將受後世的刑罰。

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْهُدَىٰ وَأَوْرَثْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ

53a wa-la-qad ʾātaynā mūsā l-hudā
53b wa-ʾawraṯnā banī ʾisrāʾīla l-kitāba

And We verily gave Moses the guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture, 53

我確已將正道賜予穆薩，我確已使以色列的後裔繼承天經，

هُدًى وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ

54 hudan wa-ḏikrā li-ʾulī l-ʾalbābi

A guide and a reminder for men of understanding. 54

用作有心靈的向導和教誨。

فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ

55a fa-ṣbir
55b ʾinna waʿda llāhi ḥaqqun
55c wa-staġfir li-ḏanbi-ka
55d wa-sabbiḥ bi-ḥamdi rabbi-ka bi-l-ʿašīyi wa-l-ʾibkāri

Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of thy sin, and hymn the praise of thy Lord at fall of night and in the early hours. 55

故你當堅忍，真主的應許，確是真實的。你應當為你的過失而求饒，你應當朝夕讚頌你的主。

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ إِن فِي صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَالِغِيهِ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

56a P ʾinna llaḏīna yuǧādilūna fī ʾāyāti llāhi bi-ġayri sulṭānin
56a ʾatā-hum ʾin fī ṣudūri-him ʾil-lā kibrun
56a R mā hum bi-bāliġī-hi
56b fa-staʿiḏ bi-llāhi
56c ʾinna-hū huwa s-samīʿu l-baṣīru

Lo! those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah without a warrant having come unto them, there is naught else in their breasts save pride which they will never attain. So take thou refuge in Allah. Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer. 56

沒有真憑實據而爭論真主的蹟象者，他們的胸中，的確只有一個念頭，就是要想達到他們絕不能達到的偉大。故你當求庇於真主，他確是全聰的，確是全明的。

لَخَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

57a la-ḫalqu s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi ʾakbaru min ḫalqi n-nāsi
57b wa-lākinna ʾakṯara n-nāsi lā yaʿlamūna

Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind; but most of mankind know not. 57

創造天地，是比再造人類更難的，但世人大半不知道。

وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَىٰ وَالْبَصِيرُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَلَا الْمُسِيءُ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

58a wa-mā yastawī l-ʾaʿmā wa-l-baṣīru
58b wa-llaḏīna ʾāmanū wa-ʿamilū ṣ-ṣāliḥāti wa-lā l-musīʾu
58c qalīlan mā tataḏakkarūna

And the blind man and the seer are not equal, neither are those who believe and do good works (equal with) the evil-doer. Little do ye reflect! 58

無眼者與有眼者是不相等的；信道而且行善者與作惡者也是不相等的，但你們很少覺悟。

إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

59a ʾinna s-sāʿata la-ʾātiyatun
59b lā rayba fī-hā
59c wa-lākinna ʾakṯara n-nāsi lā yuʾminūna

Lo! the Hour is surely coming, there is no doubt thereof; yet most of mankind believe not. 59

復活時必定來臨，這是毫無疑義的；但眾人大半不信。

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ

60a wa-qāla rabbu-kumu
60b dʿū-nī
60c ʾastaǧib la-kum
60d ʾinna llaḏīna yastakbirūna ʿan ʿibādat-ī sa-yadḫulūna ǧahannama
dāḫirīna

And your Lord hath said: Pray unto Me and I will hear your prayer. Lo! those who scorn My service, they will enter hell, disgraced. 60

你們的主說：「你們要祈禱我，我就應答你們；不肯崇拜我的人，他們將卑賤地入火獄。」

اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ

61a llāhu llaḏī ǧaʿala la-kumu l-layla
61b li-taskunū fī-hi
61a wa-n-nahāra
mubṣiran
61c ʾinna llāha la-ḏū faḍlin ʿalā n-nāsi
61d wa-lākinna akṯara n-nāsi lā yaškurūna

Allah it is Who hath appointed for you night that ye may rest therein, and day for seeing. Lo! Allah is a Lord of bounty for mankind, yet most of mankind give not thanks. 61

真主為你們創造黑夜，以便你們安息；創造白晝，以便你們觀看；真主對於人類，確是有恩惠的，但人類大半不感謝。

ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ

62a ḏālikumu llāhu rabbu-kum ḫāliqu kulli šayʾin
62b lā ʾilāha ʾil-lā huwa
62c fa-ʾannā tuʾfakūna

Such is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things, There is no God save Him. How then are ye perverted? 62

那是真主，是你們的主，是萬物的創造者；除他外，絕無應受崇拜的。你們怎麼如此悖謬呢？

كَذَٰلِكَ يُؤْفَكُ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ

63 ka-ḏālika yuʾfaku llaḏīna kānū bi-ʾāyāti llāhi yaǧḥadūna

Thus are they perverted who deny the revelations of Allah. 63

否認真主的蹟象者，就是這樣悖謬的。

اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَالسَّمَاءَ بِنَاءً وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ

64a llāhu llaḏī ǧaʿala la-kumu l-ʾarḍa qarāran wa-s-samāʾa bināʾan
wa-ṣawwara-kum
fa-ʾaḥsana ṣuwara-kum
wa-razaqa-kum mina ṭ-ṭayyibāti
64b ḏālikumu llāhu rabbu-kum
64c fa-tabāraka llāhu rabbu l-ʿālamīna

Allah it is Who appointed for you the earth for a dwelling-place and the sky for a canopy, and fashioned you and perfected your shapes, and hath provided you with good things. Such is Allah, your Lord. Then blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! 64

真主為你們以地面為居處，以天空為房屋，他以形象賦予你們，而使你們的形象優美，他供給你們佳美的食品。那是真主，你們的主。多福哉真主！——全世界的主！

هُوَ الْحَيُّ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

65a huwa l-ḥayyu
65b lā ʾilāha ʾil-lā huwa
65c fa-dʿū-hu
muḫliṣīna la-hū d-dīna
65d l-ḥamdu li-llāhi rabbi l-ʿālamīna

He is the Living One. There is no God save Him. So pray unto Him, making religion pure for Him (only). Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! 65

他確是永生的，除他外，絕無應受祟拜的，故你們當祈禱他，誠心順服他。一切讚頌，全歸真主——全世界的主！

قُلْ إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَمَّا جَاءَنِيَ الْبَيِّنَاتُ مِن رَّبِّي وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

66a qul
66b ʾin-nī nuhītu
66c ʾan ʾaʿbuda llaḏīna tadʿūna min dūni llāhi
66d lammā ǧāʾa-niya l-bayyinātu min rabb-ī
66e wa-ʾumirtu
66f ʾan ʾuslima li-rabbi l-ʿālamīna

Say (O Muhammad): I am forbidden to worship those unto whom ye cry beside Allah since there have come unto me clear proofs from my Lord, and I am commanded to surrender to the Lord of the Worlds. 66

你說：「當許多明証從我的主來臨我的時候，我確已奉到禁令，不准我崇拜你們捨真主而崇拜的；我確已奉到命令，叫我順服全世界的主。」

هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا شُيُوخًا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ مِن قَبْلُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

67a huwa llaḏī ḫalaqa-kum min turābin
ṯumma min nuṭfatin
ṯumma min ʿalaqatin
67b ṯumma yuḫriǧu-kum ṭiflan
67c ṯumma li-tabluġū ʾašudda-kum
67d ṯumma li-takūnū šuyūḫan
67e wa-min-kum man yutawaffā min qablu
67f wa-li-tabluġū ʾaǧalan musamman
67g wa-laʿalla-kum taʿqilūna

He it is Who created you from dust, then from a drop (of seed) then from a clot, then bringeth you forth as a child, then (ordaineth) that ye attain full strength and afterward that ye become old men - though some among you die before - and that ye reach an appointed term, that haply ye may understand. 67

他創造了你們，先用泥土，繼用精液，繼用血塊，然後使你們出生為嬰兒，然後讓你們成年，然後讓你們變成老人——你們中有夭折的——然後，讓你們活到一個定期，以便你們明理。

هُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ فَإِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ

68a huwa llaḏī yuḥyī wa-yumītu
68b fa-ʾiḏā qaḍā ʾamran
68c fa-ʾinna-mā yaqūlu la-hū
68d kun
68e fa-yakūnu

He it is Who quickeneth and giveth death. When He ordaineth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is. 68

他能使人生，能使人死。當他判決一件事的時候，他只對那件事說「有」，它就有了。

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ أَنَّىٰ يُصْرَفُونَ

69a ʾa-lam tara ʾilā llaḏīna yuǧādilūna fī ʾāyāti llāhi
69b ʾannā yuṣrafūna

Hast thou not seen those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah, how they are turned away? - 69

你未見爭論真主的蹟象者怎樣悖謬嗎？

الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِالْكِتَابِ وَبِمَا أَرْسَلْنَا بِهِ رُسُلَنَا فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

70 P llaḏīna kaḏḏabū bi-l-kitābi wa-bi-mā ʾarsalnā bi-hī rusula-nā
70 fa-sawfa yaʿlamūna

Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70

他們否認天經，否認我降示眾使者的蹟象，他們不久會知道（後果的）。

إِذِ الْأَغْلَالُ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ وَالسَّلَاسِلُ يُسْحَبُونَ

71a ʾiḏi l-ʾaġlālu fī ʾaʿnāqi-him wa-s-salāsilu
71b yusḥabūna

When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged 71

那時，鐵圈和鐵鏈，將在他們的頸上，

فِي الْحَمِيمِ ثُمَّ فِي النَّارِ يُسْجَرُونَ

72a fī l-ḥamīmi
72b ṯumma fī n-nāri yusǧarūna

Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72

他們將被拖入沸水中，然後他們將在火中被燒的。

ثُمَّ قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تُشْرِكُونَ

73a ṯumma qīla la-hum
73b ʾayna mā kuntum tušrikūna

Then it is said unto them: Where are (all) that ye used to make partners (in the Sovereignty) 73

然後將有天神對他們說：「你們捨真主而崇拜的（偶像）在那裡呢？」

مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ قَالُوا ضَلُّوا عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُو مِن قَبْلُ شَيْئًا كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الْكَافِرِينَ

74a min dūni llāhi
74b qālū
74c ḍallū ʿan-nā
74d bal lam nakun nadʿū min qablu šayʾan
74e ka-ḏālika yuḍillu llāhu l-kāfirīna

Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74

他們將說：「他們已迴避我們了。其實，以前我們並未祈禱任何物。」真主這樣使不信道者迷誤。

ذَٰلِكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَمْرَحُونَ

75 ḏalikum bi-mā kuntum tafraḥūna fī l-ʾarḍi bi-ġayri l-ḥaqqi
wa-bi-mā kuntum tamraḥūna

(And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75

那是因為你們在地方上不該歡喜而歡喜，也是因為你們太得意了。

ادْخُلُوا أَبْوَابَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا فَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

76a dḫulū ʾabwāba ǧahannama
ḫālidīna fī-hā
76b J fa-biʾsa maṯwā l-mutakabbirīna

Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76

你們入火獄門而永居其中吧！自大者的住處真惡劣！

فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ

77a fa-ṣbir
77b ʾinna waʿda llāhi ḥaqqun
77c fa-ʾimmā nuriyanna-ka baʿḍa llaḏī naʿidu-hum
77d ʾaw natawaffayanna-ka
77e fa-ʾilay-nā yurǧaʿūna

Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back. 77

你當堅忍，真主的應許確是真實的。如果我要昭示你一點我用以恫嚇他們的刑罰，（那末，我對他們確是全能的）；設或我使你去世，那末，他們只被召歸於我。

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُم مَّن قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قُضِيَ بِالْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ

78a wa-la-qad ʾarsalnā rusulan min qabli-ka
78b min-hum man qaṣaṣnā ʿalay-ka
78c wa-min-hum man lam naqṣuṣ ʿalay-ka
78d wa-mā kāna li-rasūlin ʾan yaʾtiya bi-ʾāyatin ʾil-lā bi-ʾiḏni llāhi
78e fa-ʾiḏā ǧāʾa ʾamru llāhi
78f quḍiya bi-l-ḥaqqi
78g wa-ḫasira hunālika l-mubṭilūna

Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah’s leave, but when Allah’s commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. 78

在你之前，我確已派遣許多使者，他們中有我已告訴你的，有我未告訴你的。任何使者，不應昭示蹟象，除非獲得真主的許可。當真主的命令來臨的時候，眾生將依真理而被判決；那時，反對真理的人將遭虧折。

اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَنْعَامَ لِتَرْكَبُوا مِنْهَا وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ

79a llāhu llaḏī ǧaʿala la-kumu l-ʾanʿāma
79b li-tarkabū min-hā
79c wa-min-hā taʾkulūna

Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of some - 79

真主為你們創造了牲畜，以便你們騎乘，並食用牠們的肉，

وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا عَلَيْهَا حَاجَةً فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ

80a wa-la-kum fī-hā manāfiʿu
80b wa-li-tabluġū ʿalay-hā ḥāǧatan fī ṣudūri-kum
80c wa-ʿalay-hā wa-ʿalā l-fulki tuḥmalūna

(Many) benefits ye have from them - and that ye may satisfy by their means a need that is in your breasts, and may be borne upon them as upon the ship. 80

你們由牠們獲得許多利益，以便你們騎著牠們，去尋求你們胸中的需要，你們用牠們和船舶載運貨物。

وَيُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِهِ فَأَيَّ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ تُنكِرُونَ

81a wa-yurī-kum ʾāyāti-hī
81b fa-ʾayya ʾāyāti llāhi tunkirūna

And He showeth you His tokens. Which, then, of the tokens of Allah do ye deny? 81

他昭示你們他的蹟象。你們否認真主的甚麼蹟象呢？

أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَانُوا أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَآثَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ

82a ʾa-fa-lam yasīrū fī l-ʾarḍi
82b fa-yanẓurū
82c kayfa kāna ʿāqibatu llaḏīna min qabli-him
82d kānū ʾakṯara min-hum wa-ʾašadda qūwatan wa-ʾāṯāran fī l-ʾarḍi
82e fa-mā ʾaġnā ʿan-hum mā kanū yaksibūna

Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those before them? They were more numerous than these, and mightier in power and (in the) traces (which they left behind them) in the earth. But all that they used to earn availed them not. 82

難道他們沒有在大地上旅行，因而觀察前人的結局是怎樣的嗎？前人比他們勢力更大，成績更多；但前人所獲得的，對於自己並沒有甚麼裨益。

فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرِحُوا بِمَا عِندَهُم مِّنَ الْعِلْمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

83a fa-lammā ǧāʾat-hum rusulu-hum bi-l-bayyināti
83b fariḥū bi-mā ʿinda-hum mina l-ʿilmi
83c wa-ḥāqa bi-him mā kānū bi-hī yastahziʾūna

And when their messengers brought them clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty) they exulted in the knowledge they (themselves) possessed. And that which they were wont to mock befell them. 83

當他們族中的眾使者昭示他們許多明証的時候，他們因自己所有的學問而洋洋得意，他們所嘲笑的刑罰，遂降臨他們。

فَلَمَّا رَأَوْا بَأْسَنَا قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ وَكَفَرْنَا بِمَا كُنَّا بِهِ مُشْرِكِينَ

84a fa-lammā raʾaw baʾsa-nā
84b qālū
84c ʾāmannā bi-llāhi waḥda-hū
84d wa-kafarnā bi-mā kunnā bi-hī mušrikīna

Then, when they saw Our doom, they said: We believe in Allah only and reject (all) that we used to associate (with Him). 84

當他們看見我的刑罰的時候，他們說：「我們只信真主，不信我們所用以配他的。」

فَلَمْ يَكُ يَنفَعُهُمْ إِيمَانُهُمْ لَمَّا رَأَوْا بَأْسَنَا سُنَّتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي قَدْ خَلَتْ فِي عِبَادِهِ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْكَافِرُونَ

85a fa-lam yaku yanfaʿu-hum ʾīmānu-hum
85b lammā raʾaw baʾsa-nā
85c sunnata llāhi
85c R llatī qad ḫalat fī ʿibādi-hī
85d wa-ḫasira hunālika l-kāfirūna

But their faith could not avail them when they saw Our doom. This is Allah’s law which hath ever taken course for His bondmen. And then the disbelievers will be ruined. 85

當他們看見我的刑罰的時候，他們的正信，對他們毫無裨益。真主以此為眾僕的已逝去的常道。那時，不信道者，遭受虧折。
