وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَٰكِن ظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فَمَا أَغْنَتْ عَنْهُمْ آلِهَتُهُمُ الَّتِي يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ لَّمَّا جَاءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ وَمَا زَادُوهُمْ غَيْرَ تَتْبِيبٍ

101a wa-mā ẓalamnā-hum
101b wa-lākin ẓalamū ʾanfusa-hum
101c fa-mā ʾaġnat ʿan-hum ʾālihatu-humu
101c R llatī yadʿūna min dūni llāhi
101c min šayʾin
101d lammā ǧāʾa ʾamru rabbi-ka
101e wa-mā zādū-hum ġayra tatbībin

We wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves; and their gods on whom they call beside Allah availed them naught when came thy Lord’s command; they added to them naught save ruin. 101

我沒有虧待他們，但他們虧待自己。他們捨真主而祈禱的眾神靈，當你的主的命令降臨的時候，對於他們無濟於事，只使他們更受損傷。

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ الْقُرَىٰ وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ

102a wa-ka-ḏālika ʾaḫḏu rabbi-ka
102b ʾiḏā ʾaḫaḏa l-qurā
102c wa-hiya ẓālimatun
102d ʾinna ʾaḫḏa-hū ʾalīmun šadīdun

Even thus is the grasp of thy Lord when He graspeth the townships while they are doing wrong. Lo! His grasp is painful, very strong. 102

當你的主毀滅不義的市鎮的時候，他的懲罰就是這樣的。他的懲罰確是痛苦的，確是嚴厲的。

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّمَنْ خَافَ عَذَابَ الْآخِرَةِ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمٌ مَّجْمُوعٌ لَّهُ النَّاسُ وَذَٰلِكَ يَوْمٌ مَّشْهُودٌ

103a ʾinna fī ḏālika la-ʾāyatan li-man ḫāfa ʿaḏāba l-ʾāḫirati
103b ḏālika yawmun
103b R maǧmūʿun la-hū n-nāsu
103c wa-ḏālika yawmun mašhūdun

Lo! herein verily there is a portent for those who fear the doom of the Hereafter. That is a day unto which mankind will be gathered, and that is a day that will be witnessed. 103

對於畏懼後世懲罰的人，此中確有一種蹟象。那是世人將被集合之日，那是世人將被証明之日。

وَمَا نُؤَخِّرُهُ إِلَّا لِأَجَلٍ مَّعْدُودٍ

104 wa-mā nuʾaḫḫiru-hū ʾil-lā li-ʾaǧalin maʿdūdin

And We defer it only to a term already reckoned. 104

我只將它展緩到一個定期。

يَوْمَ يَأْتِ لَا تَكَلَّمُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ فَمِنْهُمْ شَقِيٌّ وَسَعِيدٌ

105a yawma yaʾti lā takallamu nafsun ʾil-lā bi-ʾiḏni-hī
105b fa-min-hum šaqīyun wa-saʿīdun
106 P fa-ʾammā llaḏīna šaqū

On the day when it cometh no soul will speak except by His permission; some among them will be wretched, (others) glad. 105

在那日懲罰將要降臨，每個人須經真主的允許才得發言，他們當中有簿命的，有幸福的。

فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ شَقُوا فَفِي النَّارِ لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ وَشَهِيقٌ

106 fa-fī n-nāri la-hum fī-hā zafīrun wa-šahīqun

As for those who will be wretched (on that day) they will be in the Fire; sighing and wailing will be their portion therein, 106

至於薄命的，將進入火獄，他們在其中將要嘆氣，將要哽咽。

خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ رَبُّكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

107a ḫālidīna fī-hā
107b mā dāmati s-samāwātu wa-l-ʾarḍu
107c ʾil-lā mā šāʾa rabbu-ka
107d ʾinna rabba-ka faʿʿālun li-mā yurīdu

Abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth. Lo! thy Lord is Doer of what He will. 107

他們將天長地久地永居其中。除非你們的主所意欲的，你的主確是為所欲為的。

وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ سُعِدُوا فَفِي الْجَنَّةِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ رَبُّكَ عَطَاءً غَيْرَ مَجْذُوذٍ

108a P wa-ʾammā llaḏīna suʿidū
108a fa-fī l-ǧannati ḫālidīna fī-hā
108b mā dāmati s-samāwātu wa-l-ʾarḍu
108c ʾil-lā mā šāʾa rabbu-ka
ʿaṭāʾan ġayra maǧḏūḏin

And as for those who will be glad (that day) they will be in the Garden, abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth: a gift unfailing. 108

至於幸福的，將進入樂園，而永居其中，天長地久，除非你的主所意欲的。那是不斷的賞賜。

فَلَا تَكُ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّمَّا يَعْبُدُ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا كَمَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُهُم مِّن قَبْلُ وَإِنَّا لَمُوَفُّوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَنقُوصٍ

109a fa-lā taku fī miryatin mim-mā yaʿbudu hāʾulāʾi
109b mā yaʿbudūna
109c ʾil-lā ka-mā yaʿbudu ʾābāʾu-hum min qablu
109d wa-ʾin-nā la-muwaffū-hum naṣība-hum ġayra manqūṣin

So be not thou in doubt concerning that which these (folk) worship. They worship only as their fathers worshipped aforetime. Lo! we shall pay them their whole due unabated. 109

你對這等人所崇拜的（偶像），不要懷疑，他們只像他們的祖先那樣崇拜，我必定要把他們的份兒完全無缺地賞賜他們。

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ

110a wa-la-qad ʾātaynā mūsā l-kitāba
110b fa-ḫtulifa fī-hi
110c wa-law-lā kalimatun
110c R sabaqat
110c min rabbi-ka
110d la-quḍiya bayna-hum
110e wa-ʾinna-hum la-fī šakkin min-hu murībin

And we verily gave unto Moses the Scripture, and there was strife thereupon; and had it not been for a Word that had already gone forth from thy Lord, the case would have been judged between them, and lo! they are in grave doubt concerning it. 110

我確已把經典賞賜穆薩，但人們對那部經典有分歧；假若沒有一句話從你的主預先發出，他們必受裁判。他們對於它確是在使人不安的懷疑之中。

وَإِنَّ كُلًّا لَّمَّا لَيُوَفِّيَنَّهُمْ رَبُّكَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ إِنَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

111a wa-ʾinna kullan lammā la-yuwaffiyanna-hum rabbu-ka ʾaʿmāla-hum
111b ʾinna-hū bi-mā yaʿmalūna ḫabīrun

And lo! unto each thy Lord will verily repay his works in full. Lo! He is Informed of what they do. 111

你的主必使每個人都得享受自己行為的完全的報酬，他確是徹知他們的行為的。

فَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

112a fa-staqim
112b ka-mā ʾumirta
112a wa-man tāba maʿa-ka
112c wa-lā taṭġaw
112d ʾinna-hū bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīrun

So tread thou the straight path as thou art commanded, and those who turn (unto Allah) with thee, and transgress not. Lo! He is Seer of what ye do. 112

你應當按照天命而遵循正路，與你一起悔過的人，也當遵循正路。你們不要過份，他確是明察你們的行為的。

وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

113a wa-lā tarkanū ʾilā llaḏīna ẓalamū
113b fa-tamassa-kumu n-nāru
113c wa-mā la-kum min dūni llāhi min ʾawliyāʾa
113d ṯumma lā tunṣarūna

And incline not toward those who do wrong lest the Fire touch you, and ye have no protecting friends against Allah, and afterward ye would not be helped. 113

你們不要傾向不義的人，以免遭受火刑。除真主外，你們絕無保護者，然後，你們不能獲得援助。

وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ إِنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ ذَٰلِكَ ذِكْرَىٰ لِلذَّاكِرِينَ

114a wa-ʾaqimi ṣ-ṣalāta ṭarafayi n-nahāri wa-zulafan mina l-layli
114b ʾinna l-ḥasanāti yuḏhibna s-sayyiʾāti
114c ḏālika ḏikrā li-ḏ-ḏākirīna

Establish worship at the two ends of the day and in some watches of the night. Lo! good deeds annul ill-deeds. This is reminder for the mindful. 114

你當在白晝的兩端和初更的時候謹守拜功，善行必能消除惡行。這是對於能覺悟者的教誨。

وَاصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ

115a wa-ṣbir
115b fa-ʾinna llāha lā yuḍīʿu ʾaǧra l-muḥsinīna

And have patience, (O Muhammad), for lo! Allah loseth not the wages of the good. 115

你當堅忍，因為真主必不使行善者徒勞無酬。

فَلَوْلَا كَانَ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ أُولُو بَقِيَّةٍ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْفَسَادِ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّمَّنْ أَنجَيْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَاتَّبَعَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَا أُتْرِفُوا فِيهِ وَكَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ

116a fa-law-lā kāna mina l-qurūni min qabli-kum ʾulū baqīyatin
116a R yanhawna ʿani l-fasādi fī l-ʾarḍi
116a ʾil-lā qalīlan mim-man ʾanǧaynā min-hum
116b wa-ttabaʿa llaḏīna ẓalamū mā ʾutrifū fī-hi
116c wa-kānū muǧrimīna

If only there had been among the generations before you men possessing a remnant (of good sense) to warn (their people) from corruption in the earth, as did a few of those whom We saved from them! The wrong-doers followed that by which they were made sapless, and were guilty. 116

在你們之前逝去的各世代中，有德者為何不禁止眾人在地方上作惡？但他們中我所拯救的少數人除外。不義的人們追隨他們所享受的豪華生活。他們是犯罪的人。

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهْلِكَ الْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا مُصْلِحُونَ

117a wa-mā kāna rabbu-ka li-yuhlika l-qurā bi-ẓulmin
117b wa-ʾahlu-hā muṣliḥūna

In truth thy Lord destroyed not the townships tyrannously while their folk were doing right. 117

你的主不致為部分人迷信而毀滅那些市鎮，而多數居民是善良的。

وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ

118a wa-law šāʾa rabbu-ka
118b la-ǧaʿala n-nāsa ʾummatan wāḥidatan
118c wa-lā yazālūna muḫtalifīna

And if thy Lord had willed, He verily would have made mankind one nation, yet they cease not differing, 118

假若你的主意欲，他必使眾人變成為－個民族。他們將繼續分歧，

إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ وَلِذَٰلِكَ خَلَقَهُمْ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

119a ʾil-lā man raḥima rabbu-ka
119c wa-li-ḏālika ḫalaqa-hum
119d wa-tammat kalimatu rabbi-ka
119e la-ʾamlaʾanna ǧahannama mina l-ǧinnati wa-n-nāsi ʾaǧmaʿīna

Save him on whom thy Lord hath mercy; and for that He did create them. And the Word of thy Lord hath been fulfilled: Verily I shall fill hell with the jinn and mankind together. 119

但你的主所憐憫的人除外。他為這件事而創造他們。你的主的判辭已確定了：我誓必以人類和精靈一起充滿火獄。

وَكُلًّا نَّقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ وَجَاءَكَ فِي هَٰذِهِ الْحَقُّ وَمَوْعِظَةٌ وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

120a wa-kullan naquṣṣu ʿalay-ka min ʾanbāʾi r-rusuli
120b mā nuṯabbitu bi-hī fuʾāda-ka
120c wa-ǧāʾa-ka fī hāḏihī l-ḥaqqu wa-mawʿiẓatun wa-ḏikrā li-l-muʾminīna

And all that We relate unto thee of the story of the messengers is in order that thereby We may make firm thy heart. And herein hath come unto thee the Truth and an exhortation and a reminder for believers. 120

關於使者們的消息，我把它告訴你，用來安定你的心。在這些消息中，真理以及對信士們的訓戒和記念已降臨你了。

وَقُل لِّلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ اعْمَلُوا عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنَّا عَامِلُونَ

121a wa-qul li-llaḏīna lā yuʾminūna
121b ʿmalū ʿalā makānati-kum
121c ʾin-nā ʿāmilūna

And say unto those who believe not: Act according to your power. Lo! We (too) are acting. 121

你對不信道的人說：「你們按你們的能力而工作吧，我們確是工作的！

وَانتَظِرُوا إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ

122a wa-ntaẓirū
122b ʾin-nā muntaẓirūna

And wait! Lo! We (too) are waiting. 122

你們等待吧，我們確是等待的！」

وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُ الْأَمْرُ كُلُّهُ فَاعْبُدْهُ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَيْهِ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

123a wa-li-llāhi ġaybu s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi
123b wa-ʾilay-hi yurǧaʿu l-ʾamru kullu-hū
123c fa-ʿbud-hu
123d wa-tawakkal ʿalay-hi
123e wa-mā rabbu-ka bi-ġāfilin ʿam-mā taʿmalūna

And Allah’s is the Invisible of the heavens and the earth, and unto Him the whole matter will be returned. So worship Him and put thy trust in Him. Lo! thy Lord is not unaware of what ye (mortals) do. 123

天地的幽玄只是真主的，一切事情只歸他，故你應當崇拜他，應當信賴他。你的主絕不忽視你們的行為。
