تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِن فَوْقِهِنَّ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

5a takādu s-samāwātu yatafaṭṭarna min fawqi-hinna
5b wa-l-malāʾikatu yusabbiḥūna bi-ḥamdi rabbi-him
5c wa-yastaġfirūna li-man fī l-ʾarḍi
5d ʾa-lā ʾinna llāha huwa l-ġafūru r-raḥīmu

Almost might the heavens above be rent asunder while the angels hymn the praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on the earth. Lo! Allah, He is the Forgiver, the Merciful. 5

諸天體幾乎從上面破裂，眾天神讚頌他們的主，並為地面上的人求饒。真的，真主確是至赦的，確是至慈的。

وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ

6a P wa-llaḏīna ttaḫaḏū min dūni-hī ʾawliyāʾa
6a llāhu ḥafīẓun ʿalay-him
6b wa-mā ʾanta ʿalay-him bi-wakīlin

And as for those who choose protecting friends beside Him, Allah is Warden over them, and thou art in no wise a guardian over them. 6

捨真主而擇取保護者的人，真主是監視他們的，你絕不是他們的監護者。

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَرِيقٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِي السَّعِيرِ

7a wa-ka-ḏālika ʾawḥaynā ʾilay-ka qurʾānan ʿarabīyan
7b li-tunḏira ʾumma l-qurā wa-man ḥawla-hā
7c wa-tunḏira yawma l-ǧamʿi
7c R lā rayba fī-hi
7d farīqun fī l-ǧannati
7e wa-farīqun fī s-saʿīri

And thus We have inspired in thee a Lecture in Arabic, that thou mayst warn the mother-town and those around it, and mayst warn of a day of assembling whereof there is no doubt. A host will be in the Garden, and a host of them in the Flame. 7

我這樣啟示你一本阿拉伯文的《古蘭經》，以便你警告首邑及其四周的居民，以便你預告毫無疑義的集合日。一部分人將在樂園中，一部分人將在烈火中。

وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَٰكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ وَالظَّالِمُونَ مَا لَهُم مِّن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

8a wa-law šāʾa llāhu
8b la-ǧaʿala-hum ʾummatan wāḥidatan
8c wa-lākin yudḫilu man yašāʾu fī raḥmati-hī
8d P wa-ẓ-ẓālimūna
8d mā la-hum min walīyin wa-lā naṣīrin

Had Allah willed, He could have made them one community, but Allah bringeth whom He will into His mercy. And the wrong-doers have no friend nor helper. 8

假若真主意欲，他必使他們信奉同一的宗教，但他使他所意欲者入於他的恩惠中；不義的人們，絕無保護者，也無援助者。

أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ فَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْوَلِيُّ وَهُوَ يُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

9a ʾami ttaḫaḏū min dūni-hī ʾawliyāʾa
9b fa-llāhu huwa l-walīyu
9c wa-huwa yuḥyī l-mawtā wa-huwa ʿalā kulli šayin qadīrun

Or have they chosen protecting friends besides Him? But Allah, He (alone) is the Protecting Friend. He quickeneth the dead, and He is Able to do all things. 9

他們怎麼捨他而擇取保護者呢？真主才是保護者，他能使死者復活，他對於萬事是全能的。

وَمَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فَحُكْمُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ

10a P wa-mā ḫtalaftum fī-hi min šayʾin
10a fa-ḥukmu-hū ʾilā llāhi
10b ḏālikumu llāhu rabb-ī
10c ʿalay-hi tawakkaltu
10d wa-ʾilay-hi ʾunību

And in whatsoever ye differ, the verdict therein belongeth to Allah. Such is my Lord, in Whom I put my trust, and unto Whom I turn. 10

無論你們爭論甚麼事，都要歸真主判決。那是真主，是我的主，我只信托他，我只歸依他。

فَاطِرُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ أَزْوَاجًا يَذْرَؤُكُمْ فِيهِ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

11a fāṭiru s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi
11b ǧaʿala la-kum min ʾanfusi-kum ʾazwāǧan wa-mina l-ʾanʿāmi ʾazwāǧan
11c yaḏraʾu-kum fī-hi
11d laysa ka-miṯli-hī šayʾun
11e wa-huwa s-samīʿu l-baṣīru

The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He hath made for you pairs of yourselves, and of the cattle also pairs, whereby He multiplieth you. Naught is as His likeness; and He is the Hearer, the Seer. 11

他是天地的創造者，他以你們的同類為你們的妻子；使你們的牲畜同類相配；他借此使你們繁殖。任何物不似象他。他確是全聰的，確是全明的。

لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

12a la-hū maqālīdu s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi
12b yabsuṭu r-rizqa li-man yašāʾu
12c wa-yaqdiru
12d ʾinna-hū bi-kulli šayʾin ʿalīmun

His are the keys of the heavens and the earth. He enlargeth providence for whom He will and straiteneth (it for whom He will). Lo! He is Knower of all things. 12

天地的寶藏，只是他的；他欲使誰的給養寬裕，就使它寬裕；欲使誰的給養窘迫，就使它窘迫；他是全知萬物的。

شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّىٰ بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ

13a šaraʿa la-kum mina d-dīni mā waṣṣā bi-hī nūḥan
wa-llaḏī ʾawḥaynā ʾilay-ka
wa-mā waṣṣaynā bi-hī ʾibrāhīma wa-mūsā wa-ʿīsā
13b ʾan ʾaqīmū d-dīna
13c wa-lā tatafarraqū fī-hi
13d kabura ʿalā l-mušrikīna mā tadʿū-hum ʾilay-hi
13e llāhu yaǧtabī ʾilay-hi man yašāʾu
13f wa-yahdī ʾilay-hi man yunību

He hath ordained for you that religion which He commended unto Noah, and that which We inspire in thee (Muhammad), and that which We commended unto Abraham and Moses and Jesus, saying: Establish the religion, and be not divided therein. Dreadful for the idolaters is that unto which thou callest them. Allah chooseth for Himself whom He will, and guideth unto Himself him who turneth (toward Him). 13

他已為你們制定正教，就是他所命令努哈的、他所啟示你的、他命令易卜拉欣、穆薩和爾撒的宗教。你們應當謹守正教，不要為正教而分門別戶。以物配主的人們，以為你所教導他們的事是難堪的。真主將他所意欲者招致於正教，將歸依他者引導於真理。

وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُورِثُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ

14a wa-mā tafarraqū
14b ʾil-lā min baʿdi mā ǧāʾa-humu l-ʿilmu
14a baġyan bayna-hum
14c wa-law-lā kalimatun
14c R sabaqat min rabbi-ka
14c ʾilā ʾaǧalin musamman
14d la-quḍiya bayna-hum
14e wa-ʾinna llaḏīna ʾūriṯū l-kitāba min baʿdi-him la-fī šakkin min-hu murībin

And they were not divided until after the knowledge came unto them, through rivalry among themselves; and had it not been for a Word that had already gone forth from thy Lord for an appointed term, it surely had been judged between them. And those who were made to inherit the Scripture after them are verily in hopeless doubt concerning it. 14

知識來臨他們後，他們才為互相嫉妒而分派別。假若不是因為你的主已預先說過要延期懲治，那末，他們必已受裁判了。在他們之後繼承天經的人們，對於天經，的確在使人猶豫的疑惑中。

فَلِذَٰلِكَ فَادْعُ وَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَقُلْ آمَنتُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِن كِتَابٍ وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَعْدِلَ بَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ

15a fa-li-ḏālika fa-dʿu
15b wa-staqim
15c ka-mā ʾumirta
15d wa-lā tattabiʿ ʾahwāʾa-hum
15e wa-qul
15f ʾāmantu bi-mā ʾanzala llāhu min kitābin
15g wa-ʾumirtu
15h li-ʾaʿdila bayna-kumu
15i llāhu rabbu-nā wa-rabbu-kum
15j la-nā ʾaʿmālu-nā
15k wa-la-kum ʾaʿmālu-kum
15l lā ḥuǧǧata bayna-nā wa-bayna-kumu
15m llāhu yaǧmaʿu bayna-nā
15n wa-ʾilay-hi l-maṣīru

Unto this, then, summon (O Muhammad). And be thou upright as thou art commanded, and follow not their lusts, but say: I believe in whatever scripture Allah hath sent down, and I am commanded to be just among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. Unto us our works and unto you your works; no argument between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and unto Him is the journeying. 15

你應當召人於此道，你應當謹遵天命，常守正道，不要順從他們的私欲。你說：「我確信真主所降示的經典，我奉命公平待遇你們。真主是我們的主，也是你們的主。我們有我們的工作，你們有你們的工作，我們不必和你們辯駁。真主將集合我們，他是唯一的歸宿。」

وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ

16a P wa-llaḏīna yuḥāǧǧūna fī llāhi min baʿdi mā stuǧība la-hū
16a ḥuǧǧatu-hum dāḥiḍatun ʿinda rabbi-him
16b wa-ʿalay-him ġaḍabun
16c wa-la-hum ʿaḏābun šadīdun

And those who argue concerning Allah after He hath been acknowledged, their argument hath no weight with their Lord, and wrath is upon them and theirs will be an awful doom. 16

眾人既應召而信奉真主的宗教後，為它而辯駁者，據他們的主看來，他們的証據是無效的，他們應當遭譴怒，並受嚴刑。

اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌ

17a allāhu llaḏī ʾanzala l-kitāba bi-l-ḥaqqi wa-l-mīzāni
17b wa-mā yudrī-ka
17c laʿalla s-sāʿata qarībun

Allah it is Who hath revealed the Scripture with truth, and the Balance. How canst thou know? It may be that the Hour is nigh. 17

真主降示包含真理的經典，並降示公平。你怎麼能知道呢？復活時或許是臨近的。

يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا الْحَقُّ أَلَا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِي السَّاعَةِ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ

18a yastaʿǧilu bi-hā llaḏīna lā yuʾminūna bi-hā
18b wa-llaḏīna ʾāmanū mušfiqūna min-hā wa-yaʿlamūna
18c ʾanna-hā l-ḥaqqu
18d ʾa-lā ʾinna llaḏīna yumārūna fī s-sāʿati la-fī ḍalālin baʿīdin

Those who believe not therein seek to hasten it, while those who believe are fearful of it and know that it is the Truth. Are not they who dispute, in doubt concerning the Hour, far astray? 18

不信復活時的人們要求它早日實現；而確信它的人們卻怕它早日實現，並且知道它是真實的。真的，為復活時而爭辯的人們，的確在不近情理的迷誤之中。

اللَّهُ لَطِيفٌ بِعِبَادِهِ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ

19a allāhu laṭīfun bi-ʿibādi-hī
19b yarzuqu man yašāʾu
19c wa-huwa l-qawīyu l-ʿazīzu

Allah is gracious unto His slaves. He provideth for whom He will. And He is the Strong, the Mighty. 19

真主是慈愛他的眾僕的，他供給他所欲供給的人，他確是至剛的，確是萬能的。

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ وَمَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍ

20a P man kāna yurīdu ḥarṯa l-ʾāḫirati
20a nazid la-hū fī ḥarṯi-hī
20b P wa-man kāna yurīdu ḥarṯa d-dunyā
20b nuʾti-hī min-hā
20c wa-mā la-hū fī l-ʾāḫirati min naṣībin

Whoso desireth the harvest of the Hereafter, We give him increase in its harvest. And whoso desireth the harvest of the world, We give him thereof, and he hath no portion in the Hereafter. 20

誰欲得後世的收獲，我就加增誰的收獲，誰欲得今世的收獲，我就給誰一點今世的收獲；他在後世，沒有份兒。

أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ شَرَعُوا لَهُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا لَمْ يَأْذَن بِهِ اللَّهُ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةُ الْفَصْلِ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

21a ʾam la-hum šurakāʾu
21a R šaraʿū la-hum mina d-dīni mā lam yaʾḏan bi-hī llāhu
21b wa-law-lā kalimatu l-faṣli
21c la-quḍiya bayna-hum
21d P wa-ʾinna ẓ-ẓālimīna
21d la-hum ʿaḏābun ʾalīmun

Or have they partners (of Allah) who have made lawful for them in religion that which Allah allowed not? And but for a decisive word (gone forth already), it would have been judged between them. Lo! for wrong-doers is a painful doom. 21

難道他們有許多配主，曾為他們制定真主所未許可的宗教嗎？假若沒有那判辭，他們必受判決，不義的人們，必受痛苦的刑罰。

تَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌ بِهِمْ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي رَوْضَاتِ الْجَنَّاتِ لَهُم مَّا يَشَاءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيرُ

22a tarā ẓ-ẓālimīna mušfiqīna mim-mā kasabū
22b wa-huwa wāqiʿun bi-him
22c P wa-llaḏīna ʾāmanū wa-ʿamilū ṣ-ṣāliḥāti fī rawḍāti l-ǧannāti
22c la-hum mā yašāʾūna ʿinda rabbi-him
22d ḏālika huwa l-faḍlu l-kabīru

Thou seest the wrong-doers fearful of that which they have earned, and it will surely befall them, while those who believe and do good works (will be) in flowering meadows of the Gardens, having what they wish from their Lord. This is the great preferment. 22

你將來要看見不義的人們為他們所犯的罪惡而恐懼，那些罪惡的懲罰必定來臨他們。信道而且行善的人們，將來要居住在樂園的勝地中，在他們的主那裡，他們得享受他們所欲享受的；那確是宏恩。

ذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْنًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ

23a ḏālika llaḏī yubašširu llāhu ʿibāda-hū
23a R llaḏīna ʾāmanū wa-ʿamilū ṣ-ṣāliḥāti
23b qul
23c lā ʾasʾalu-kum ʿalay-hi ʾaǧran ʾil-lā l-mawaddata fī l-qurbā
23d P wa-man yaqtarif ḥasanatan
23d nazid la-hū fī-hā ḥusnan
23e ʾinna llāha ġafūrun šakūrun

This it is which Allah announceth unto His bondmen who believe and do good works. Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee therefor, save loving kindness among kinsfolk. And whoso scoreth a good deed We add unto its good for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Responsive. 23

那是真主用來向他那些信道而且行善的僕人們報喜的。你說：「我不為傳達使命而向你們索取報酬，但求為同族而親愛。」誰行一件善事，我要加倍地報酬誰。真主確是至赦的，確是善報的。

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا فَإِن يَشَإِ اللَّهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ وَيَمْحُ اللَّهُ الْبَاطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

24a ʾam yaqūlūna
24b ftarā ʿalā llāhi kaḏiban
24c fa-ʾin yašaʾi llāhu
24d yaḫtim ʿalā qalbi-ka
24e wa-yamḥu llāhu l-bāṭila
24f wa-yuḥiqqu l-ḥaqqa bi-kalimāti-hī
24g ʾinna-hū ʿalīmun bi-ḏāti ṣ-ṣudūri

Or say they: He hath invented a lie concerning Allah? If Allah willed, He could have sealed thy heart (against them). And Allah will wipe out the lie and will vindicate the truth by His words. Lo! He is Aware of what is hidden in the breasts (of men). 24

不然，他們說：「他假借真主的名義而捏造。」如果真主意欲，他就封閉你的心。真主以其文辭抹煞虛偽，証實真理，他確是全知心事的。

وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَعْفُو عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

25a wa-huwa llaḏī yaqbalu t-tawbata ʿan ʿibādi-hī
wa-yaʿfū ʿani s-sayyiʾāti
25b wa-yaʿlamu mā tafʿalūna

And He it is Who accepteth repentance from His bondmen, and pardoneth the evil deeds, and knoweth what ye do, 25

他准許他的眾僕悔過，他饒恕一切罪惡，他知道你們的行為。

وَيَسْتَجِيبُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ وَالْكَافِرُونَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ

26a wa-yastaǧību llaḏīna ʾāmanū wa-ʿamilū ṣ-ṣāliḥāti
26b wa-yazīdu-hum min faḍli-hī
26c P wa-l-kāfirūna
26c la-hum ʿaḏābun šadīdun

And accepteth those who do good works, and giveth increase unto them of His bounty. And as for disbelievers, theirs will be an awful doom. 26

他答應信道而且行善者的祈禱，他以恩典加賜他們。不信道者將受嚴厲的刑罰。

وَلَوْ بَسَطَ اللَّهُ الرِّزْقَ لِعِبَادِهِ لَبَغَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍ مَّا يَشَاءُ إِنَّهُ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ

27a wa-law basaṭa llāhu r-rizqa li-ʿibādi-hī
27b la-baġaw fī larḍi
27c wa-lākin yunazzilu bi-qadarin mā yašāʾu
27d ʾinna-hū bi-ʿibādi-hī ḫabīrun baṣīrun

And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sendeth down by measure as He willeth. Lo! He is Informed, a Seer of His bondmen. 27

如果真主使他的僕人們得享受寬裕的給養，他們必在大地上作惡，但他依定量而降下他所欲降的給養。他對於他的僕人們，確是徹知的，確是明察的。

وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُوا وَيَنشُرُ رَحْمَتَهُ وَهُوَ الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ

28a wa-huwa llaḏī yunazzilu l-ġayṯa
28b min baʿdi mā qanaṭū
28c wa-yanšuru raḥmata-hū
28d wa-huwa l-walīyu l-ḥamīdu

And He it is Who sendeth down the saving rain after they have despaired, and spreadeth out His mercy. He is the Protecting Friend, the Praiseworthy. 28

他在他們絕望之後，降下時雨，廣施了他的恩惠，他確是保護者，確是可頌的。

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ

29a wa-min ʾayāti-hī ḫalqu s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi wa-mā baṯṯa fī-himā min dābbatin
29b wa-huwa ʿalā ǧamʿi-him
29d ʾiḏā yašāʾu
29c qadīrun

And of His portents is the creation of the heaven and the earth, and of whatever beasts He hath dispersed therein. And He is Able to gather them when He will. 29

他的蹟象之一，是創造天地和他在天地間所散布的各種動物，他能自由地將他們集合在一起。

وَمَا أَصَابَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَن كَثِيرٍ

30a wa-mā ʾaṣāba-kum min muṣībatin fa-bi-mā kasabat ʾaydī-kum
30b wa-yaʿfū ʿan kaṯīrin

Whatever of misfortune striketh you, it is what your right hands have earned. And He forgiveth much. 30

凡你們所遭遇的災難，都是由於你們所作的罪惡；他饒恕你們的許多罪過。

وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

31a wa-mā ʾantum bi-muʿǧizīna fī l-ʾarḍi
31 wa-mā la-kum min dūni llāhi min walīyin wa-lā naṣīrin

Ye cannot escape in the earth, for beside Allah ye have no protecting friend nor any helper. 31

你們在大地上絕不能逃避天譴，除真主外，你們沒有任何保護者和援助者。

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ الْجَوَارِ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ

32 wa-min ʾayāti-hī l-ǧawāri fī l-baḥri ka-l-ʾaʿlāmi

And of His portents are the ships, like banners on the sea; 32

他的蹟象之一，是在海中象山岳一般的船舶。

إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ الرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

33a ʾin yašāʾ
33b yuskini r-rīḥa
33c fa-yaẓlalna rawākida ʿalā ẓahri-hī
33d ʾinna fī ḏālika la-ʾayātin li-kulli ṣabbārin šakūrin

If He will He calmeth the wind so that they keep still upon its surface - Lo! herein verily are signs for every steadfast grateful (heart)- 33

如果他意欲，他就使風靜止，而船舶停頓在海面上。對於每個堅忍者、感謝者，其中確有許多蹟象。

أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍ

34a ʾaw yūbiq-hunna bi-mā kasabū
34b wa-yaʿfu ʿan kaṯīrin

Or He causeth them to perish on account of that which they have earned - And He forgiveth much - 34

他或因他們所作的罪惡，而使那些船舶沉沒；他恕饒許多人的罪過。

وَيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ

35 wa-yaʿlama llaḏīna yuǧādilūna fī ʾayāti-nā mā la-hum min maḥīṣin

And that those who argue concerning Our revelations may know they have no refuge. 35

為我的蹟象而爭論的人們，知道他們自己絕無處逃罪。

فَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

36a fa-mā ʾūtītum min šayʾin fa-matāʿu l-ḥayāti d-dunyā
36b wa-mā ʿinda llāhi ḫayrun wa-ʾabqā li-llaḏīna ʾāmanū
wa-ʿalā rabbi-him yatawakkalūna

Now whatever ye have been given is but a passing comfort for the life of the world, and that which Allah hath is better and more lasting for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord, 36

凡你們所受賜的，無論甚麼，都是今世生活的享受。在真主那裡的報酬，是更優美的，是更長久的，那是歸於信道而只信托真主者；

وَالَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ

37a wa-llaḏīna yaǧtanibūna kabāʾira l-ʾiṯmi wa-l-fawāḥiša
37b wa-ʾiḏā mā ġaḍibū
37c hum yaġfirūna

And those who shun the worst of sins and indecencies and, when they are wroth, forgive, 37

也歸於遠離大罪和醜事，且在發怒時能赦宥者；

وَالَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَىٰ بَيْنَهُمْ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

38 wa-llaḏīna staǧābū li-rabbi-him wa-ʾaqāmū ṣ-ṣalāta
wa-ʾamru-hum šūrā bayna-hum
wa-mim-mā razaqnā-hum yunfiqūna

And those who answer the call of their Lord and establish worship, and whose affairs are a matter of counsel, and who spend of what We have bestowed on them, 38

也歸於應答主的號召，且謹守拜功者；他們的事務，是由協商而決定的，他們分捨我所賜予他們的；

وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْبَغْيُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ

39a wa-llaḏīna
39b ʾiḏā ʾaṣāba-humu l-baġyu
39c hum yantaṣirūna

And those who, when great wrong is done to them, defend themselves, 39

也歸於能反抗自己所遭的侵害者。

وَجَزَاءُ سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثْلُهَا فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ

40a wa-ǧazāʾu sayyiʾatin sayyiʾatun miṯlu-hā
40b fa-man ʿafā
40c wa-ʾaṣlaḥa
40d fa-ʾaǧru-hū ʿalā llāhi
40e ʾinna-hū lā yuḥibbu ẓ-ẓālimīna

The guerdon of an ill-deed is an ill the like thereof. But whosoever pardoneth and amendeth, his wage is the affair of Allah. Lo! He loveth not wrong-doers. 40

惡行應得同樣的惡報。誰願恕饒而且和解，真主必報酬誰。真主確是不喜愛不義者的。

وَلَمَنِ انتَصَرَ بَعْدَ ظُلْمِهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مَا عَلَيْهِم مِّن سَبِيلٍ

41 P wa-la-mani ntaṣara baʿda ẓulmi-hī
41 fa-ʾulāʾika mā ʿalay-him min sabīlin

And whoso defendeth himself after he hath suffered wrong - for such, there is no way (of blame) against them. 41

受人欺侮而進行報復的人們，是無可責備的。

إِنَّمَا السَّبِيلُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَظْلِمُونَ النَّاسَ وَيَبْغُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

42 P ʾinna-mā s-sabīlu ʿalā llaḏīna yaẓlimūna n-nāsa
wa-yabġūna fī l-ʾarḍi bi-ġayri l-ḥaqqi
42 ʾulāʾika la-hum ʿaḏābun ʾalīmun

The way (of blame) is only against those who oppress mankind, and wrongfully rebel in the earth. For such there is a painful doom. 42

應受責備的，是欺侮他人、並且在地方上蠻橫無理者；這些人將受痛苦的刑罰。

وَلَمَن صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ

43 P wa-la-man ṣabara wa-ġafara
43 ʾinna ḏālika la-min ʿazmi l-ʾumūri

And verily whoso is patient and forgiveth - lo! that, verily, is (of) the steadfast heart of things. 43

凡能忍受而加以赦宥者，他們的那種行為，確是應該決心做的事情。

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن وَلِيٍّ مِّن بَعْدِهِ وَتَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَىٰ مَرَدٍّ مِّن سَبِيلٍ

44a P wa-man yuḍlili llāhu
44a fa-mā la-hū min walīyin min baʿdi-hī
44b wa-tarā ẓ-ẓālimīna
44c lammā raʾawū l-ʿaḏāba
44d yaqūlūna
44e hal ʾilā maraddin min sabīlin

He whom Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no protecting friend after Him. And thou (Muhammad) wilt see the evil-doers when they see the doom, (how) they say: Is there any way of return? 44

真主使誰迷誤，在真主的棄絕後，誰沒有在何保護者。你將來要看見不義者眼見刑罰時說：「還有返回（塵世）的途徑嗎？」

وَتَرَاهُمْ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا خَاشِعِينَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ يَنظُرُونَ مِن طَرْفٍ خَفِيٍّ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ فِي عَذَابٍ مُّقِيمٍ

45a wa-tarā-hum
45b yuʿraḍūna ʿalay-hā
ḫāšiʿīna mina ḏ-ḏulli
45c yanẓurūna min ṭarfin ḫafīyin
45d wa-qāla llaḏīna ʾāmanū
45e ʾinna l-ḫāsirīna llaḏīna ḫasirū ʾanfusa-hum wa-ʾahlī-him yawma l-qiyāmati
45f ʾa-lā ʾinna ẓ-ẓālimīna fī ʿaḏābin muqīmin

And thou wilt see them exposed to (the Fire), made humble by disgrace, and looking with veiled eyes. And those who believe will say: Lo! the (eternal) losers are they who lose themselves and their housefolk on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! are not the wrong-doers in perpetual torment? 45

你將來要看見他們身臨火刑，為卑賤而恭敬，暗中偷看。信道者將說：「虧折的人們，在復活日確是喪失自身和家屬的。」真的，不義者必在永恆的刑罰中。

وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ يَنصُرُونَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن سَبِيلٍ

46a wa-mā kāna la-hum min ʾawliyāʾa
46a R yanṣurūna-hum
46a min dūni llāhi
46b P wa-man yuḍlili llāhu
46b fa-mā la-hū min sabīlin

And they will have no protecting friends to help them instead of Allah. He whom Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no road. 46

除真主外，他們將沒有任何朋友援助他們。真主使誰迷誤，誰沒有道路。

اسْتَجِيبُوا لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلْجَإٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٍ

47a staǧībū li-rabbi-kum
47b min qabli ʾan yaʾtiya yawmun
47b R lā maradda la-hū mina llāhi
47c mā la-kum min malǧaʾin yawmaʾiḏin
47d wa-mā la-kum min nakīrin

Answer the call of your Lord before there cometh unto you from Allah a Day which there is no averting. Ye have no refuge on that Day, nor have ye any (power of) refusal. 47

在不可抗拒之日，從真主降臨以前，你們應當應答你們的主。在那日，你們絕沒有逃避的地方，也絕不能抵賴。

فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ وَإِنَّا إِذَا أَذَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ كَفُورٌ

48a fa-ʾin ʾaʿraḍū
48b fa-mā ʾarsalnā-ka ʿalay-him ḥafīẓan
48c ʾin ʿalay-ka ʾil-lā l-balāġu
48d P wa-ʾin-nā
48e ʾiḏā ʾaḏaqnā l-ʾinsāna min-nā raḥmatan
48d fariḥa bi-hā
48f wa-ʾin tuṣib-hum sayyiʾatun bi-mā qaddamat ʾaydī-him
48g fa-ʾinna l-ʾinsāna kafūrun

But if they are averse, We have not sent thee as a warder over them. Thine is only to convey (the message). And lo! when We cause man to taste of mercy from Us he exulteth therefor. And if some evil striketh them because of that which their own hands have sent before, then lo! man is an ingrate. 48

如果他們退避，那末，我沒有派你做他們的監護者，你只負通知的責任。我使人類嘗試從我發出的恩惠的時候，他們因恩惠而快樂；他們因為曾經犯罪而遭難的時候，人類確是孤恩的。

لِّلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ يَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ إِنَاثًا وَيَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ الذُّكُورَ

49a li-llāhi mulku s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi
49b yaḫluqu mā yašāʾu
49c yahabu li-man yašāʾu ʾināṯan
49d wa-yahabu li-man yašāʾu ḏ-ḏukūra

Unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He createth what He will. He bestoweth female (offspring) upon whom He will, and bestoweth male (offspring) upon whom He will; 49

天地的國權，歸真主所有。他欲創造甚麼，就創造甚麼；欲給誰女孩，就給誰女孩；欲給誰男孩，就給誰男孩；

أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَاثًا وَيَجْعَلُ مَن يَشَاءُ عَقِيمًا إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ

50a ʾaw yuzawwiǧu-hum ḏukrānan wa-ʾināṯan
50b wa-yaǧʿalu man yašāʾu ʿaqīman
50c ʾinna-hū ʿalīmun qadīrun

Or He mingleth them, males and females, and He maketh barren whom He will. Lo! He is Knower, Powerful. 50

或使他們兼生男孩和女孩；他使他所意欲者，成為不能生育的。他確是全知的，確是全能的。

وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا وَحْيًا أَوْ مِن وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ رَسُولًا فَيُوحِيَ بِإِذْنِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ إِنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ

51a wa-mā kāna li-bašarin
51b ʾan yukallima-hū llāhu ʾil-lā waḥyan ʾaw min warāʾi ḥiǧābin
51c ʾaw yursila rasūlan
51d fa-yūḥiya bi-ʾiḏni-hī mā yašāʾu
51e ʾinna-hū ʿalīyun ḥakīmun

And it was not (vouchsafed) to any mortal that Allah should speak to him unless (it be) by revelation or from behind a veil, or (that) He sendeth a messenger to reveal what He will by His leave. Lo! He is Exalted, Wise. 51

任何人也不配與真主對話，除非啟示，或從帷幕的後面，或派一個使者，奉他的命令而啟示他所欲啟示的。他確是至尊的，確是至睿的。

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ رُوحًا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِي مَا الْكِتَابُ وَلَا الْإِيمَانُ وَلَٰكِن جَعَلْنَاهُ نُورًا نَّهْدِي بِهِ مَن نَّشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

52a wa-ka-ḏālika ʾawḥaynā ʾilay-ka rūḥan min ʾamri-nā
52b mā kunta tadrī mā l-kitābu wa-lā l-ʾīmānu
52c wa-lākin ǧaʿalnā-hu nūran
52c R nahdī bi-hī man našāʾu min ʿibādi-nā
52d wa-ʾinna-ka la-tahdī ʾilā ṣirāṭin mustaqīmin

And thus have We inspired in thee (Muhammad) a Spirit of Our command. Thou knewest not what the Scripture was, nor what the Faith. But We have made it a light whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondmen. And lo! thou verily dost guide unto a right path, 52

我這樣啟示你從我的命令中發出的精神。你本來不知道天經是甚麼，正信是甚麼；但我以天經為光明，而借此光明引導我所欲引導的僕人。你確是指示正路者。

صِرَاطِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَلَا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَصِيرُ الْأُمُورُ

53a ṣirāṭi llāhi
53a R llaḏī la-hū mā fī s-samāwāti wa-mā fī l-ʾarḍi
53b ʾa-lā ʾilā llāhi taṣīru l-ʾumūru

The path of Allah, unto Whom belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Do not all things reach Allah at last? 53

那是真主的路。天地萬物，都是他的。真的，萬事只歸真主。
