That Allah may forgive thee of thy sin that which is past and that which is to come, and may perfect His favour unto thee, and may guide thee on a right path, 2

以便真主赦宥你已往的和將來的過失，並完成他對你的恩典，且昭示你一條正路。

وَيَنصُرَكَ اللَّهُ نَصْرًا عَزِيزًا

3 wa-yanṣura-ka llāhu naṣran ʿazīzan

And that Allah may help thee with strong help - 3

真主將給你一種有力的援助。

هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

4a huwa llaḏī ʾanzala s-sakīnata fī qulūbi l-muʾminīna
4b li-yazdādū ʾīmānan maʿa ʾīmāni-him
4c wa-li-llāhi ǧunūdu s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi
4d wa-kāna llāhu ʿalīman ḥakīman

He it is Who sent down peace of reassurance into the hearts of the believers that they might add faith unto their faith. Allah’s are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is ever Knower, Wise - 4

他曾將鎮靜降在信士們的心中，以便他們信念上加信念——天地的軍隊，只是真主的，真主是全知的，是至睿的——

لِّيُدْخِلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عِندَ اللَّهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا

5a li-yudḫila l-muʾminīna wa-l-muʾmināti ǧannātin
5a R taǧrī min taḥti-hā l-ʾanhāru
5a ḫālidīna fī-hā
5b wa-yukaffira ʿan-hum sayyiʾāti-him
5c wa-kāna ḏālika ʿinda llāhi fawzan ʿaẓīman

That He may bring the believing men and the believing women into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide, and may remit from them their evil deeds - That, in the sight of Allah, is the supreme triumph - 5

以便他使信士和信女們入下臨諸河的樂園，而永居其中，並赦宥他們的罪惡。據真主看來，這是偉大的成功。

وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَاتِ الظَّانِّينَ بِاللَّهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَنَهُمْ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا

6a wa-yuʿaḏḏiba l-munāfiqīna wa-l-munāfiqāti wa-l-mušrikīna wa-l-mušrikāti
ẓ-ẓānnīna bi-llāhi ẓanna s-sawʾi
6b ʿalay-him dāʾiratu s-sawʾi
6c wa-ġaḍiba llāhu ʿalay-him
6d wa-laʿana-hum
6e wa-ʾaʿadda la-hum ǧahannama
6f wa-sāʾat maṣīran

And may punish the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women, and the idolatrous men and the idolatrous women, who think an evil thought concerning Allah. For them is the evil turn of fortune, and Allah is wroth against them and hath cursed them, and hath made ready for them hell, a hapless journey’s end. 6

以便他懲罰偽信的男人和女人，和以物配主的男人和女人，就是對真主作惡意猜想的人，惡運只降臨他們，真主譴怒他們，棄絕他們，並為他們預備了火獄。那歸宿真惡劣！

وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا

7a wa-li-llāhi ǧunūdu s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi
7b wa-kāna llāhu ʿazīzan ḥakīman

Allah’s are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is ever Mighty, Wise. 7

天地的軍隊，只是真主的。真主是萬能的，是至睿的。

إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ شَاهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا

8 ʾin-nā ʾarsalnā-ka šāhidan wa-mubašširan wa-naḏīran

Lo! We have sent thee (O Muhammad) as a witness and a bearer of good tidings and a warner, 8

我確已派遣你作見証者，作報喜者，作警告者，

لِّتُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا

9a li-tuʾminū bi-llāhi wa-rasūli-hī
9b wa-tuʿazzirū-hu
9c wa-tuwaqqirū-hu
9d wa-tusabbiḥū-hu bukratan wa-ʾaṣīlan

That ye (mankind) may believe in Allah and His messenger, and may honour Him, and may revere Him, and may glorify Him at early dawn and at the close of day. 9

以便你們歸信真主和使者，並協助他，尊敬他，朝夕讚頌他。

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُبَايِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُونَ اللَّهَ يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَمَن نَّكَثَ فَإِنَّمَا يَنكُثُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِمَا عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهُ اللَّهَ فَسَيُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا

10a ʾinna llaḏīna yubāyiʿūna-ka ʾinna-mā yubāyiʿūna llāha
10b yadu llāhi fawqa ʾaydī-him
10c fa-man nakaṯa
10d fa-ʾinna-mā yankuṯu ʿalā nafsi-hī
10e wa-man ʾawfā bi-mā ʿāhada ʿalay-hu [SIC!] llāha
10f fa-sa-yuʾtī-hi ʾaǧran ʿaẓīman

Lo! those who swear allegiance unto thee (Muhammad), swear allegiance only unto Allah. The Hand of Allah is above their hands. So whosoever breaketh his oath, breaketh it only to his soul’s hurt; while whosoever keepeth his covenant with Allah, on him will He bestow immense reward. 10

與你訂約的人們，其實是與真主訂約；真主的手是在他們的手之上的。背約者，自受背約之害；實踐與真主所訂約者，真主將賞賜他重大的報酬。

سَيَقُولُ لَكَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ شَغَلَتْنَا أَمْوَالُنَا وَأَهْلُونَا فَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا يَقُولُونَ بِأَلْسِنَتِهِم مَّا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ قُلْ فَمَن يَمْلِكُ لَكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ ضَرًّا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ نَفْعًا بَلْ كَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

11a sa-yaqūlu la-ka l-muḫallafūna mina l-ʾaʿrābi
11b šaġalat-nā ʾamwālu-nā wa-ʾahlū-nā
11c fa-staġfir la-nā
11d yaqūlūna bi-ʾalsinati-him mā laysa fī qulūbi-him
11e qul
11f fa-man yamliku la-kum mina llāhi šayʾan
11g ʾin ʾarāda bi-kum ḍarran
11h ʾaw ʾarāda bi-kum nafʿan
11i bal kāna llāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna ḫabīran

Those of the wandering Arabs who were left behind will tell thee: Our possessions and our households occupied us, so ask forgiveness for us! They speak with their tongues that which is not in their hearts. Say: Who can avail you aught against Allah, if He intend you hurt or intend you profit? Nay, but Allah is ever Aware of what ye do. 11

留在後方的游牧人們將說：「我們要照料我們的家產和家屬，所以請你為我們求饒。」他們用他們的舌頭說的不是他們的心裡話。你說：「誰能為你們干涉真主一絲毫？如果他要降禍於你們，或降福於你們。真主是徹知你們的行為的。

بَلْ ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَنقَلِبَ الرَّسُولُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِيهِمْ أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنتُمْ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا بُورًا

12a bal ẓanantum
12b ʾan lan yanqaliba r-rasūlu wa-l-muʾminūna ʾilā ʾahlī-him ʾabadan
12c wa-zuyyina ḏālika fī qulūbi-kum
12d wa-ẓanantum ẓanna s-sawʾi
12e wa-kuntum qawman būran

Nay, but ye deemed that the messenger and the believers would never return to their own folk, and that was made fairseeming in your hearts, and ye did think an evil thought, and ye were worthless folk. 12

你們猜想使者和信士們永不回家了，你們的心為這猜想所迷惑，你們作不善的猜想，你們是將滅亡的民眾。」

وَمَن لَّمْ يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَإِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَعِيرًا

13a wa-man lam yuʾmin bi-llāhi wa-rasūli-hī
13b fa-ʾin-nā ʾaʿtadnā li-l-kāfirīna saʿīran

And so for him who believeth not in Allah and His messenger - Lo! We have prepared a flame for disbelievers. 13

不信真主和使者的人，我確已為他們這等不信者預設火獄了。

وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

14a wa-li-llāhi mulku s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi
14b yaġfiru li-man yašāʾu
14c wa-yuʿaḏḏibu man yašāʾu
14d wa-kāna llāhu ġafūran raḥīman

And Allah’s is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He forgiveth whom He will, and punisheth whom He will. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 14

大地的國權，歸真主所有，他要赦宥誰，就赦宥誰；要懲罰誰，就懲罰誰。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

سَيَقُولُ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا انطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَىٰ مَغَانِمَ لِتَأْخُذُوهَا ذَرُونَا نَتَّبِعْكُمْ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُبَدِّلُوا كَلَامَ اللَّهِ قُل لَّن تَتَّبِعُونَا كَذَٰلِكُمْ قَالَ اللَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ فَسَيَقُولُونَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُونَنَا بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَفْقَهُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

15a sa-yaqūlu l-muḫallafūna
15b ʾiḏā nṭalaqtum ʾilā maġānima
15c li-taʾḫuḏū-hā
15d ḏarū-nā
15e nattabiʿ-kum
15f yurīdūna
15g ʾan yubaddilū kalāma llāhi
15h qul
15i lan tattabiʿū-nā
15j ka-ḏālikum qāla llāhu min qablu
15k fa-sa-yaqūlūna
15l bal taḥsudūna-nā
15m bal kānū la yafqahūna ʾil-lā qalīlan

Those who were left behind will say, when ye set forth to capture booty: Let us go with you. They fain would change the verdict of Allah. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Ye shall not go with us. Thus hath Allah said beforehand. Then they will say: Ye are envious of us. Nay, but they understand not, save a little. 15

留在後方的人們，當你們為獲取戰利品而出發的時候，他們將說：「讓我們踉你們去吧！」他們欲變更真主的判辭。你說：「你們絕對不得跟我們去，以前，真主已這樣說過了。」他們將說：「不然，你們嫉妒我們。」不然，他們不甚了解。

قُل لِّلْمُخَلَّفِينَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ أُولِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ تُقَاتِلُونَهُمْ أَوْ يُسْلِمُونَ فَإِن تُطِيعُوا يُؤْتِكُمُ اللَّهُ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا كَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

16a qul li-l-muḫallafīna mina l-ʾaʿrābi
16b sa-tudʿawna ʾilā qawmin ʾulī baʾsin šadīdin
16c tuqātilūna-hum
16d ʾaw yuslimūna
16e fa-ʾin tuṭīʿū
16f yuʾti-kumu llāhu ʾaǧran ḥasanan
16g wa-ʾin tatawallaw
16h ka-mā tawallaytum min qablu
16i yuʿaḏḏib-kum ʿaḏāban ʾalīman

Say unto those of the wandering Arabs who were left behind: Ye will be called against a folk of mighty prowess, to fight them until they surrender; and if ye obey, Allah will give you a fair reward; but if ye turn away as ye did turn away before, He will punish you with a painful doom. 16

你對逗留在後方的游牧人說：「你們將被召去討伐一群剽悍的民眾，或他們歸順。如果你們服從（命令），真主就以優美的報酬賞賜你們；如果你們還像以前那樣規避，他就使你們受痛苦的刑罰。」

لَّيْسَ عَلَى الْأَعْمَىٰ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ يُعَذِّبْهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

17a laysa ʿalā l-ʾaʿmā ḥaraǧun
17b wa-lā ʿalā l-ʾaʿraǧi ḥaraǧun
17c wa-lā ʿalā l-marīḍi ḥaraǧun
17d wa-man yuṭiʿi llāha wa-rasūla-hū
17e yudḫil-hu ǧannātin
17e R taǧrī min taḥti-hā l-ʾanhāru
17f wa-man yatawalla
17g yuʿaḏḏib-hu ʿaḏāban ʾalīman

There is no blame for the blind, nor is there blame for the lame, nor is there blame for the sick (that they go not forth to war). And whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow; and whoso turneth back, him will He punish with a painful doom. 17

瞎子無罪，跛子無罪，病人無罪。誰服從真主和使者，真主要使誰入那下臨諸河的樂園；誰規避他，他將使誰受痛苦的刑罰。

لَّقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا

18a la-qad raḍiya llāhu ʿani l-muʾminīna
18b ʾiḏ yubāyiʿūna-ka taḥta š-šaǧarati
18c fa-ʿalima mā fī qulūbi-him
18d fa-ʾanzala s-sakīnata ʿalay-him
18e wa-ʾaṯāba-hum fatḥan qarīban

Allah was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance unto thee beneath the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down peace of reassurance on them, and hath rewarded them with a near victory; 18

真主確已喜悅信士們。當時，他們在那棵樹下與你訂約，他已知道他們的心事，故降鎮靜於他們，並報酬他們臨近的勝利，

وَمَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً يَأْخُذُونَهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا

19a wa-maġānima kaṯīratan
19a R yaʾḫuḏūna-hā
19b wa-kāna llāhu ʿazīzan ḥakīman

And much booty that they will capture. Allah is ever Mighty, Wise. 19

和他們所取得的許多戰利品。真主是萬能的，是至睿的。

وَعَدَكُمُ اللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً تَأْخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هَٰذِهِ وَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَ النَّاسِ عَنكُمْ وَلِتَكُونَ آيَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ صِرَاطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا

20a waʿada-kumu llāhu maġānima kaṯīratan
20a R taʾḫuḏūna-hā
20b fa-ʿaǧǧala la-kum hāḏihī
20c wa-kaffa ʾaydiya n-nāsi ʿan-kum
20d wa-li-takūna ʾāyatan li-l-muʾminīna
20e wa-yahdiya-kum ṣirāṭan mustaqīman

Allah promiseth you much booty that ye will capture, and hath given you this in advance, and hath withheld men’s hands from you, that it may be a token for the believers, and that He may guide you on a right path. 20

真主以你們所取得的許多戰利品應許你們，而將這戰利品迅速的賞賜你們，並制止敵人對你們下手，以便這戰利品作為信士們的一種蹟象，以便真主昭示你們一條正路。

وَأُخْرَىٰ لَمْ تَقْدِرُوا عَلَيْهَا قَدْ أَحَاطَ اللَّهُ بِهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرًا

21a wa-ʾuḫrā
21a R lam taqdirū ʿalay-hā
21a qad ʾaḥāṭa llāhu bi-hā
21b wa-kāna llāhu ʿalā kulli šayʾin qadīran

And other (gain), which ye have not been able to achieve, Allah will compass it, Allah is Able to do all things. 21

別的戰利品，你們尚未能獲得的，真主確已周知它。真主對於萬事是全能的。

وَلَوْ قَاتَلَكُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوَلَّوُا الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا

22a wa-law qātala-kumu llaḏīna kafarū
22b la-wallawu l-ʾadbāra
22c ṯumma lā yaǧidūna walīyan wa-lā naṣīran

And if those who disbelieve join battle with you they will take to flight, and afterward they will find no protecting friend nor helper. 22

假若不信道的人們與你們交戰，他們必定失敗，而且不能發現一個保護者，也不能發現一個援助者。

سُنَّةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا

23a sunnata llāhi
23a R llātī qad ḫalat min qablu
23b wa-lan taǧida li-sunnati llāhi tabdīlan

It is the law of Allah which hath taken course aforetime. Thou wilt not find for the law of Allah aught of power to change. 23

這是真主以前的常道，對於真主的常道，你絕不能發現有任何變更。

وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُم بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِن بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا

24a wa-huwa llaḏī kaffa ʾaydiya-hum ʿan-kum wa-ʾaydiya-kum ʿan-hum
bi-baṭni makkata
24b min baʿdi ʾan ʾaẓfara-kum ʿalay-him
24c wa-kāna llāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīran

And He it is Who hath withheld men’s hands from you, and hath withheld your hands from them, in the valley of Mecca, after He had made you victors over them. Allah is Seer of what ye do. 24

他曾制止他們對你們下手，也制止你們在戰勝他們之後在麥加山谷中對他們下手，真主是明察你們的行為的。

هُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْهَدْيَ مَعْكُوفًا أَن يَبْلُغَ مَحِلَّهُ وَلَوْلَا رِجَالٌ مُّؤْمِنُونَ وَنِسَاءٌ مُّؤْمِنَاتٌ لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوهُمْ أَن تَطَئُوهُمْ فَتُصِيبَكُم مِّنْهُم مَّعَرَّةٌ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ لِّيُدْخِلَ اللَّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ لَوْ تَزَيَّلُوا لَعَذَّبْنَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

25a humu llaḏīna kafarū wa-ṣaddū-kum ʿani l-masǧidi l-ḥarāmi wa-l-hadya
maʿkūfan
25b ʾan yabluġa maḥilla-hū
25c wa-law-lā riǧālun muʾminūna wa-nisāʾun muʾminātun
25d lam taʿlamū-hum
25e ʾan taṭaʾū-hum
25f fa-tuṣība-kum min-hum maʿarratun bi-ġayri ʿilmin
25g li-yudḫila llāhu fī raḥmati-hī man yašāʾu
25h law tazayyalū
25i la-ʿaḏḏabnā llaḏīna kafarū min-hum ʿaḏāban ʾalīman

These it was who disbelieved and debarred you from the Inviolable Place of Worship, and debarred the offering from reaching its goal. And if it had not been for believing men and believing women, whom ye know not - lest ye should tread them under foot and thus incur guilt for them unknowingly; that Allah might bring into His mercy whom He will - If (the believers and the disbelievers) had been clearly separated We verily had punished those of them who disbelieved with painful punishment. 25

他們不信道，並阻礙你們入禁寺，且阻止被扣留的犧牲達到它的已定的位置。若不為厭惡你們蹂躪你們所末認識的許多信道的男子和女子，而你們因此無知地犯罪，那末，他不制止你們。真主制止你們，以便他使他所意欲者入於他的恩惠之中。假若他們是散居的，我必使他們中不信道的人們受痛苦的刑罰。

إِذْ جَعَلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوَىٰ وَكَانُوا أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهْلَهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا

26a ʾiḏ ǧaʿala llaḏīna kafarū fī qulūbi-himu l-ḥamīyata ḥamīyata l-ǧāhilīyati
26b fa-ʾanzala llāhu sakīnata-hū ʿalā rasūli-hī wa-ʿalā l-muʾminīna
26c wa-ʾalzama-hum kalimata t-taqwā
26d wa-kānū ʾaḥaqqa bi-hā wa-ʾahla-hā
26e wa-kāna llāhu bi-kulli šayʾin ʿalīman

When those who disbelieve had set up in their hearts zealotry, the zealotry of the Age of Ignorance, then Allah sent down His peace of reassurance upon His messenger and upon the believers and imposed on them the word of self-restraint, for they were worthy of it and meet for it. And Allah is Aware of all things. 26

當不信道者心懷忿怒——蒙昧時代的忿怒——的時候，真主曾降鎮靜給使者和信士們，使他們堅持敬畏辭。他們是更宜於敬畏辭的，是應受敬畏辭的。真主對於萬事是全知的。

لَّقَدْ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ رَسُولَهُ الرُّؤْيَا بِالْحَقِّ لَتَدْخُلُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ آمِنِينَ مُحَلِّقِينَ رُءُوسَكُمْ وَمُقَصِّرِينَ لَا تَخَافُونَ فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوا فَجَعَلَ مِن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا

27a la-qad ṣadaqa llāhu rasūla-hū r-ruʾyā bi-l-ḥaqqi
27b la-tadḫulunna l-masǧida l-ḥarāma
27c ʾin šāʾa llāhu
27b ʾāminīna muḥalliqīna ruʾūsa-kum wa-muqaṣṣirīna
27c lā taḫāfūna
27d fa-ʿalima mā lam taʿlamū
27e fa-ǧaʿala min dūni ḏālika fatḥan qarīban

Allah hath fulfilled the vision for His messenger in very truth. Ye shall indeed enter the Inviolable Place of Worship, if Allah will, secure, (having your hair) shaven and cut, not fearing. But He knoweth that which ye know not, and hath given you a near victory beforehand. 27

真主確已昭示他的使者包含真理的夢兆，如果真主意欲，你們必定平安地進入禁寺，有的人剃頭，有的人剪短髮，你們將永不恐懼。真主知道你們所未知道的，故在那件事之前，先有一次臨近的勝利。

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا

28a huwa llaḏī ʾarsala rasūla-hū bi-l-hudā wa-dīni l-ḥaqqi
28b li-yuẓhira-hū ʿalā d-dīni kulli-hī
28c wa-kafā bi-llāhi šahīdan

He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion. And Allah sufficeth as a Witness. 28

他因正道和真教而派遣他的使者，以便他使真教勝過一切宗教。真主足為見證，

مُّحَمَّدٌ رَّسُولُ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ أَشِدَّاءُ عَلَى الْكُفَّارِ رُحَمَاءُ بَيْنَهُمْ تَرَاهُمْ رُكَّعًا سُجَّدًا يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانًا سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِم مِّنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ ذَٰلِكَ مَثَلُهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِي الْإِنجِيلِ كَزَرْعٍ أَخْرَجَ شَطْأَهُ فَآزَرَهُ فَاسْتَغْلَظَ فَاسْتَوَىٰ عَلَىٰ سُوقِهِ يُعْجِبُ الزُّرَّاعَ لِيَغِيظَ بِهِمُ الْكُفَّارَ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا

29a muḥammadun rasūlu llāhi
29b wa-llaḏīna maʿa-hū ʾašiddāʾu ʿalā l-kuffāri ruḥamāʾu bayna-hum
29c tarā-hum rukkaʿan suǧǧadan
29d yabtaġūna faḍlan mina llāhi wa-riḍwānan
29e sīmā-hum fī wuǧūhi-him min ʾaṯari s-suǧūdi
29f ḏālika maṯalu-hum fi t-tawrāti
29g wa-maṯalu-hum fi l-ʾinǧīli ka-zarʿin
29g R ʾaḫraǧa šaṭʾa-hū
29h fa-ʾāzara-hū
29i fa-staġlaẓa
29j fa-stawā ʿalā sūqi-hī
29k yuʿǧibu z-zurrāʿa
29l li-yaġīẓa bi-himu l-kuffāra
29m waʿada llāhu llaḏīna ʾāmanū wa-ʿamilū ṣ-ṣāliḥāti min-hum maġfiratan
wa-ʾaǧran ʿaẓīman

Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves. Thou (O Muhammad) seest them bowing and falling prostrate (in worship), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) acceptance. The mark of them is on their foreheads from the traces of prostration. Such is their likeness in the Torah and their likeness in the Gospel - like as sown corn that sendeth forth its shoot and strengtheneth it and riseth firm upon its stalk, delighting the sowers - that He may enrage the disbelievers with (the sight of) them. Allah hath promised, unto such of them as believe and do good works, forgiveness and immense reward. 29

穆罕默德是真主的使者，在他左右的人，對外道是莊嚴的，對教胞是慈祥的。你看他那鞠躬叩頭，要求真主的恩惠和喜悅，他們的標記就在他們的臉上，那是叩頭的效果。那是他們在《討拉特》中的譬喻。他們在《引支勒》中的譬喻，是他們像一棵莊稼，發出枝條，而他助它長大，而那枝條漸漸茁壯，終於固定在苗本上，使農夫欣賞。他將他們造成那樣，以便他借他們激怒外道。真主應許他們這等信道而且行善者，將蒙赦宥和重大的報酬。
