▪ SED #256 reconstructs Sem *ṣ˅bʕ(-at)-, *ʔ˅-ṣbaʕ- | *c̣˅bʕ(-at)-, *?˅-c̣baʕ- ‘finger’. The underlying protoforms are presumably *ṣibʕ(-at)-, *ʔa-ṣibʕ . – Often also with the meaning ‘toe’.
